"If you want this option on your tickets, I strongly recommend purchasing, upgrading, or modifying as it looks like it will be departing very soon with no replacement.

Personal opinion: Reading into it further, this may be the slow build up towards the closure of DisneyQuest and/or ground work towards implementing the seasonal pricing on multi day tickets. It could also signal a complete restructuring of the 12 year old Magic Your Way scheme since the focus is now not so much on additional days, but additional days being spent outside of Magic Kingdom as much as possible."

:sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2: That certainly sounds like a further slide downhill as far as customer satisfaction goes. Not that we expect much Elsie's days but...

Well I guess it's not unexpected that tickets will be restructured. They've been the same for quite a long time.

Well, here we go. Another big ticket price increase, probably coming in February. Pay more for less. I'm sure they're trying to come up with a plan to start paying off the investment in Avatar as its opening this summer. I'm glad I purchased a set of tickets last year before the price increase. I'm set through at least the 50th anniversary.

As you know the seasonal pricing on multi-day tickets has been my fear. But, I am curious - why would they need to do this, for that? So basically from now on, you'll have to pay every time you want to go to the water park, right?

It depends on how they restructure the tickets. I think they want to get rid of the and more option because DisneyQuest isn't going to be here forever.

Somebody want to explain why I'M the quack around here?

...I think I've been warning to not encourage this kinda nonsense for along time.

Everyone enjoy that "good value" extra magic ticket thing...what a deal, eh?

And somehow people think they are not charging for Extra Magic Hours....

maybe they want to make admission to the parks and waterparks one and the same. Like buy a 7 day ticket and you can use a day at either a park or a waterpark without having to buy an option. That will likely be coupled with a large increase in price to add days to longer tickets

There was a similar ticket offered several years ago, the all-in-one pass. You were able to go to any park (theme park or water park) for the number of days on the pass. It was kind of like a super park hopper pass. I found a couple of them several years ago and each one still had several days on them!

I think it may very well be that the waterparks are seasonal. No sense including admission to them in the off season....then during peak, your inflated ticket price will include it for "extra value".

Well then, that's interesting.

However, doesn't the water park n more option cost something like $50 anyway? That's the cost to enter either of those parks separately, so not like anything is being lost except for not being able to add it as part of a package, but will have to be an add on. I think they're just changing the name of it since Disney Quest isn't included in the AP's now either.

I thought Disneyquest was becoming an NBA cafe?

Seems odd not to have such an option - though I've never taken it.
If they really want people to get out of MK for a day and hit something like a water park, I agree - it should just be included in the regular ticket pack. You'd sell a ton more hoppers and people would put some time in at the water parks.

You could allow to be ala carte, and be at time of scan, that it just bills back to your magicband folio. That way you don't have to pre-commit to it. Allow it to be a lesser dollar amount than an off the street tourist. Therefore encouraging folks to use it on whim, if you happen to be there during a warm time.
I could see it just being a different tact to sell the product.

Was supposed to but the NBA doesn't want to foot the entire bill like Disney wants them to. So DisneyQuest/NBA experience is kind of up in the air still.

Not sure how true this is since Disney just confirmed the 2017 Armed Forces Salute offer that gives the option to purchase the WP&M option on tickets for use through mid December 2017...So it will continue to exist until at least a year from now.

You said for use through mid December 2017. This new option could be for after that. Disney has it in their terms and conditions that they can change things at anytime they want.
