If you have the Water Park and more option on your tickets, can you visit a water park or Disney Quest BEFORE you visit a park? We have family members heading down in June and I'm helping them plan their trip and they were contemplating visiting a water park on their arrival day and then heading into a park that night. Is that option even possible or will it reject them at the water park before they head in?

Yes you can go to the water park first, as long as your tickets are active. If you have tickets as part of a package, then you will need to check in before the tickets are activated (whether you want to go to a theme park or a water park first).

Of course - go to the Water Park enjoy your tan - go back to your room nap, and then see fireworks - easily the best day ever.

True, but the check-in can be done ahead of time on line. Just want to be clear that there's no longer a need to physically go to the resort to check in before using park/water park tickets.

Gotcha. This has certainly been a help. I think they may head to their hotel early in the morning just to see if there's an off chance their room may be ready (although I know they'll likely just get a text about it), but it sounds like you can just head right to the water park which is great

You can absolutely do it - I just confirmed it by doing Disney Quest and TL prior to the parks....I was super nervous after Disney Quest that my tickets would be somehow mixed up but everything was absolutely fine.

@RyMickey . Something to remember also if you plan all day at the water parks, you can remove one days of park ticket. So lets say you get a 10 ticket with WPFaM(waterparks fun and more) You actually will have 20 days of tickets. 10 Days for the park and 10 days of Waterparks. not sure if you knew that or not, or if anyone else knew that also :)

Let's say you get a nine-day ticket and utilize all nine park days -- does the water parks and more option end after the ninth park use day or do you have additional days to utilize the "add-ons"? For example, for nine days in a row you went into a theme park. On day #10, can you visit DisneyQuest or a water park or play golf? Based off of what I see on allears.net, you can.

(We've gotten annual passes for years OR haven't felt the need to attend water parks, so as I'm helping out my fellow family members, I just don't want to give them the wrong info.)

That's a good reminder! Many years ago, I made the mistake of buying 10 day WP and more tix, when I really only needed 7 day ones! Not a huge price difference, but x5 people and it adds up! Doh.

Okay, maybe a dumb question. I am guessing with the FP+ now, those staying off-site "check-in" when making their fp selections 30 days out? We have a trip planned staying off-site for the first time since FP+ rolled out and plan on getting the water park add on feature.

You would have 14 days from first use to use all entitlements. So in your example of 9 days in the parks you could go to waterparks days 10-14.

Of course you can always use a park day & waterpark entitlement on the same day as well.
