@Robo, I hate to question your info but in my recent experience staying at Poly this year.... when HEA is at 9PM, the EWP starts at Poly at 8:50PM.

FWIW, the recent Poly Activities Calenders have it listed at 8:50PM as well: http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/resorts/wdw/pdf/PolyCalendar.pdf

I've stayed at Poly a handful of times this year and this seems to be the consistent pattern, as far as I can tell.

Related to the show, we saw that last week it was severely abbreviated - missing were the alligator, the dinosaur, the jumping dolphins, and Triton and his seahorses. That's about half the show!
Any idea why it's presently shortened? I know there are plans to upgrade/replace the show in the coming years, but I hope this doesn't mean they're just letting the existing version die by attrition as maintenance issues arise. My wife will be bitterly disappointed if they lose the turtle float.

I had read some Twitter reports that the show floats had damage during Irma. That might be the cause? I can't vouch for the accuracy of those reports but I seem to recall seeing it a few places.

Oh no, if half the parade is missing I won't wait around for it. :(
