Water pageant / dinner rez

I really wanna see the water pageant. We have currently Chef Mickeys at 8:30 pm (wp shows at 10:05) and Ohana at 7:30 (wp shows at 9:00). Given seating time, etc, plus my kids eat fast particularly at buffets. In like ten minutes they are done! Will we be able to make either time for the pageant? Trying to get earlier rez but so far no luck.

You won't make it from Ohana 9 nights out of 10. Keep in mind you will be seated late at Ohana, and it's not a buffet.

From CM, I think it more likely because while you may seat late, you can start eating immediately and aren't dependent on service.
