Hi everyone

Hope you can help with a couple of drink questions?

Can you choose a small mineral water instead of a soft drink as your non-alcoholic beverage on the DDP?

If neither of us want a soft drink can you split large bottle of water

Finally, can you have coffee at then end of your meal instead of a non-alcoholic beverage and if so I guess it's only regular coffee right, not cappucino, espresso etc :confused3

TIA

I was able to get bottled water with my meals instead of soft drinks and even juices as I don't drink soft drink at all.

I know some places will let you order cappucino and such instead of regular coffee but I think it depends on your waiter more then anything.

Are you referring to TS or CS locations?

At CS locations, you can definitely get a bottle of water or coffee as your drink option. This would be the 16-20 oz bottles. You can not combine drink options to get one larger bottle. If the location carries espresso or capuccino then you choose those as the drink option.

At TS locations, if the location carries bottled water then I do believe that would be included. DD13 loves the Evian in glass bottles and has gotten that as her drink option. Any non-alcoholic coffee could be your drink option as well. Note that if you choose 2 different drinks then either you have to ask for one to be considered your dessert option or you have to pay OOP for the second one. You can also get things like milk shakes or smoothies as your drink option as long as it doesn't come in a souvenir cup, assuming that the restaurant offers these. If you're eating at an all you can eat restaurant then you can get multiple drinks (bottled water, coffee, juice, etc). Only the drinks with some kind of souvenir or alcohol cost extra at these restaurants as they tend to not carry drinks like smoothies or capuccinos.

I believe the answer is that you can get plain bottled water. Mineral water, no. It's my understanding that "mineral water" is not the same thing as standard bottled water. Sparkling water, I believe, is also not included.

I can definitely answer this one as my DD is that weird child species who only drinks water and never anything else :)

We have generally been able to get a bottle of water at most ts locations but not all. The problem ones I recall are HDDR - no still bottled water available at all only sparkling at a charge (she went thirsty until we left hddr and headed to the store as she won't drink sparkling)
Kouzzina - they sell larger bottled water but not included on ddp so we paid oop
Can't recall the third place we had to pay last trip. Most are fine and give you the standard small bottles of dasani you buy in the parks.

Thanks for all the great answers
I was mainly referring to TS restaurants
DH is a coke drinker so that would be his drink of choice. I would prefer to either have water or nothing at all (apart from wine of course!) and then have a coffee at the end of my meal

Just a note, if you wanted to drink plain water (i.e., "still water") at meals, most restaurants in the U.S. provide that for free. This does not refer to bottled water nor is it any specialty waters (like Evian). Likewise, most non-alcoholic drinks (like soda, still water, coffee, ice tea, etc.) come with free refills. I only make this note because when I was in London last year, you had to pay for water (b/c it was bottled) at most restaurants I went to.
