What can I use to water out of my kids ears from swimming

There is a product called Swimmers Ear and you put drops in after swimming. You can also use alcohol. They both just dry up the water.

Mix a half and half mixture of water and rubbing alcohol. One or 2 drops will clear the water right out.

DS10 hates the alcohol, I use peroxide.

I use the Swimmers Ear drops for my daughter and they work great. I forgot them on our last trip to Disney and decided to chance it rather than buy some. Wrong decision obviously based on the in-room visit and provided antibiotic all for the low-low price of about $300. But at least it was convenient service and with a smile!

My DD always got an ear infection every summer and it was always when we were out of town. Pediatrician said mix 1/2 alcohol to 1/2 vinegar. As she got older she hated the vinegar smell but she never got anymore ear infections. She is 15 years old now and for the last couple of years she hasn't been rinsing her ears out and she has stopped getting ear infections. I am hoping she out grew them. :sunny:
