We leave tomorrow morning for Cape Canaveral to spend the night at the Radisson before sailing on the Wonder on sunday:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc  :hyper:

I have one last question. I am taking bottled water and my DD is taking canned Arizona Ice Tea. The documents say this can't be packed in the luggage but has to be in the carry on's.

Is this correct? I had planned on putting at least the water bottles in plastic gallon ziploc's in my luggage. May have to re-think.

Help, please.

I put plastic bottled water and soda in my check bag last time we cruised. This was no problem at all.

I don't really trust cans as I've seen them pop open when being tossed around. But, those Arizona cans are kinda sturdy looking so that might make a difference.

I have done the bottled water many times both checked in or carried on. One time I actually brought a cardboard box with a case of water. They just asked me what was in it and I told them.

When you brought the case of water did you have to use it a one of your 2 pieces of luggage or a carryon or did it count separately?

I was wondering that too. Thought I could strap a case of water ito ride on top of my carry roll away and seperate it at security for the xray. Anyone seen this done before?

It counted as a piece of luggage. I taped the disney luggage tag to it.

The last cruise we went on was a 3 night. I bought a large soft cooler. It was kinda like a large lunch box. I froze a 6 or 9 pack of 24 oz. bottles of water and carried it on. With a little help of course from a roll on carryon.

We always have a case of bottled water and the rolling cooler in our largest piece of luggage. No problem at all..we check it and it always arrives safely to our cabin.

The only alcohol we did put in the carry on..we took a bottle of champagne one time..and hubby took a couple belgians another time.

I will be doing this on our November cruise...I know that the water on the ship is fine (this is our 2nd DCL cruise), but I really missed my Poland Springs water...IT's THE BEST!!!!:teeth: Gotta have it!!::yes::

We have packed water bottles in checked bags probably at least 20 different times including our 2002 Disney cruise and never had a problem. We usually load up one suitcase pretty full with water (watch the weight-most airlines limit you to 50 pounds per bag). As a bonus you have all that space to bring back souvenirs back in.

I have done soda bottles a few times also with no problems. The soda is more dangerous because a leak would make a big mess. I would suggest you use bottles instead of cans as the bottles are much less likely to explode.

I'm taking 8 bottles of water (2 for each of us for our 2 days of excursions on the Eastern). I plan to put them in zip lock bags for added protection and pack them in our checked bags.

I haven't done it yet, but I can't tell you how it will work, but that is the plan.
