We had a Brita pitcher and it worked great last trip. Didn't have to keeping buying bottles of water from the parks. Problem is I broke it last trip and it takes up a lot of space in our Owners Locker.

Trying to decide if we need another one of the faucet model.

What does everyone use and what do you prefer?

Thanks

I'm interested in this question as well. I purchased a Brita pitcher for our past trip but would love to hear some experience people had with the faucet mount version.

I debated between the facet mount and the pitcher for the longest time in Target. The facet mount was so much smaller and would be easier to pack in our suitcase. However, I decided to go with the the pitcher for two reasons. First, I didn't know how easy it would be to mount and unmount the filter with out all the resources from home. Second, cost. The pitcher was $18 and the mount was much more. The orig. basic model was even cheaper at $14, I thought the oval one looked like it would pack easier and was tougher. Also the Brita filters were cheaper then the Pur (at least the Pur 3 filters that Target had).

I was very happy that I spent the money and used my precious packing space for the pitcher and would bring it again.

I also packed our tea, cocoa and oatmeal mixes inside the pitcher so it wasn't too much wasted space.

We are Brita pitcher people.
It doesn't take up a lot of space in our OL once you put something in it when you pack it away it is all good. We always bring they just opened filter after our WDW stay and put it in our pitcher at home. So we aren't wasting a filter on one weeks use. And by the way when our filter needs to be replaced at home we know it is time to go back to Disney!:rotfl2:

we can never get the faucet mount Brita to work. I am thinking about getting a pitcher, but I also don't know if I have room in my OL. We have tried the mount one at SSR and VWL and HH and can't seem to get it to work. Maybe we are doing something wrong.

Does anyone know what the filter actually filters? I am allergic to the sulfur so I always do bottled water. Does the filter work to remove it?
