Anyone ever have Staples deliver water to Beach Club Villas??

People have things delivered to the resorts, is your question specific to staples?

Deliveries to BCV/BC/YC are processed by an outside contractor and they charge a fee. I'm guessing $10 per case of water.

is that YC/BC/BCV only or something new to all resorts?

It is resorts that are attached to convention centers (BCV, BLT, BWV) and the policy has been in effect for several years. The only exceptions seem to be grocery shopping services and Owners locker, who deliver to the bell services staff rather than the convention center package receiving areas.

Non-convention center resorts, so far, do not charge a fee.

Ahhh- i knew that contemporary had that. Sort of common for hotels with "business centers"- always seems anti-business to me but it is what it is. :)

Have you ever thought about getting Brita bottles instead? We love ours. They have a filter so you can fill them with regular tap water. Counter service restaurants will gladly give you free ice water, which you can pour into your bottles. We stopped buying cases of water and bring our bottles instead.

An added bonus for fliers is that you can take the through airport security empty and fill them once you are in the terminal area.

Totally serious- do you normally find that Florida water tastes like feet?
And the follow up - do those brita bottles remove the feet taste?

if Yes to both then they sound great.

Well, having never tasted feet ;) I don't know if that is what Florida water tastes like, but I agree it tastes awful. When we use our bottles the water tastes just fine...no bad taste at all.

great- thanks for the reply.

Some people are used to the mineral content (or whatever it is) and find the water fine. Just wanted to be sure you were in the same camp as us and think it's nasty unfiltered

Most definitely! :crazy2:

Thanks, for the information..

I was hoping to be able to get water delivered from Staples but not if they are going to charge me $10.00 a case. In the past when I have done it for SSR and OKW there is no charge.......
