Just came back from a water park and the waterproof box I use to keep my pass and money dry in, leaked. I will need a new one for my cruise. Do they sell DCL ones on the ship?

yes they do, skinny ones and fat ones

mind if i ask what a water box is?? i am from west texas, and there isnt any water for about 400 miles so water anything is new to me!!

It's a container that you can put your KTTW card, money, etc and it's suppose to keep everything dry. Mine has a long cord for wearing around the neck. Just a convenient way to keep cards and money dry!

And the fat ones have just enough room for an inhaler!! Awesome invention!!! Kelli

The ones I saw on the Wonder 2 weeks ago did not look like they would be "waterproof" to me. I purchased one for DH before the cruise from www.dryboxes.com, and it has a rubber gasket around the opening that the disney ones did not have. Maybe someone has some actual experience using the disney ones and can verify that they are "waterproof".

Also, you could put your items in a ziploc bag, and then in the plastic case, just to make sure they didn't get wet.

The Disney ones are supposed to have a gasket, too. Maybe you got a faulty one....I have a couple of the skinny ones, and one fat one. They all keep everything waterproof. I know there have been a few people complaining about soggy cash, so either someone is messing with the stock, or Disney bought some cheapies somewhere.....I've never had ANY trouble with mine, though.

www.dryboxes.com isn't working for some reason :(

Seems to be working now, at least I got there......Disney sells ones like the "Witz sport" ones on dryboxes......I remember red, white, blue and yellow....not sure if there's others. Plus, they have Castaway Cay ones on the island.

Sorry, I was going on info from DH, who found them on the ship. If the disney ones have the gasket, I'd buy that one. The one I ordered from dryboxes.com was about $11.00 with the shipping, and I'm pretty sure the ones on the ship were cheaper.
