Does anyone know ehere we can get them? Our first park will be the AK. Does anyone know exactly where to get them at the AK or any other park?

We got a really cool water bottle carrabiner at the shop just after EE at AK. The rubber part is shaped like mickey and the clip fastens on just about everything. one of the coolest things we bought!

Was it a water bottle or belt clip?

Do you have the link at amazon?

TIA

Saw one on a lady riding the monorail last trip and thought it was the easiest and coolest water clip I've seen. Asked her where she got it and she said at any drink koisk, well we searched just about everywhere to no avail but a few days later they appeared in just every shop. Must have just came out when we saw hers and towards the end of our stay, all the resort gift shops had a slew of them. It's only a small carbinger, rubber mickey shaped piece that the water bottle neck slips into his head part, ears are there but no function, clip it to anything. Wasn't that expensive either.

Does anyone have a picture of one? I'm not understanding it from the description.

Thanks

I got mine from Animal Kingdom the stand near the Tree of Life. I got it at about 9:10 on my first day.

I love them

does anyone know if we can still get these? Would make my life much easier! thanks

I just got back from WDW and saw (and bought) the coolest one I've seen yet. It's a laynard that goes around your neck. The laynard itself says EPCOT and then it has all different flags of the countries on it (with the rubber holder for the water bottle at the end).

So, think of it like the pin laynard and instead of the card or medal at the bottom, it's a water bottle holder there instead. I THINK it cost $2 and I found it at a drink kiosk heading towards Mission Space.

I would post a pic but I can't post attachments yet. :headache: I can add it to my PHOTOBUCKET account tomorrow when I get the chance if anyone really wants to see it.

UPDATE: Oh, the one with the clip on the end of it, those are new and are a WASTE of money! Mine broke after 2 uses. I went back to get it replaced and most of the others were broke too. Very cheap design. There is also one that has a fast pass/ticket holder (small plastic envelope that seals up) with a key ring and clips and the water bottle holder too on it and I like that one much better. I see those all over the place but I specifically remember seeing it at EMPORIUM in Magic Kingdom.

thanks Michelle. I was hoping the carabiner style would be available and functional, since I think the kids could attach that to their fanny packs easily. Things around their neck with any weight usually wind up around mine after a few minutes.;)
So, the carabiner style ones broke on you? I'd love to see pictures!

I've heard of alot of words in my lifetime, but never "carbinger". So I'll ask, what the heck is that?:goodvibes

It's caribeaner and it is one of these: http://www.bluproducts.com/products/ffyp_caribeaner.htm

The can clip to belt or backpack :)

yah know, I just knew I was spelling it wrong.... thanks!

babypiglet, the one I am looking for is a caribeaner with a mickey head on the end of it. It's described in a couple of the posts above. The face part slips over the bottle and the caribeaner clips onto your fanny pack. hth.
Anyone buy this style, like it and can tell me where to buy it at WDW?

thanks

That sounds so cute! We never have gone when it was hot before so I am looking for something too to carry my water. Usually we just get a drink every couple hours, but as hot as it is supposed to be next week, I think I will go through gallons of it!

YEP, that's it! I'll take a picture of the three different water bottle holders that I have. The laynard, the caribeaner, and the keyring/clip. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages.

The caribeaner has the rubber mouse ears at the other end that actually holds the water bottle (not the caribeaner itself).

It looks like the clipping mechanism itself is cheap so it breaks easily.

Like I said, when I get home I'll take pics!

We bought the carabiner type holder on our trip a the end of August. The clip part broke on two of them - we returned them and got new ones. Then one of them broke the last day - never did get around to replacing those. We bought ours at a gift shop on the Boardwalk. DD clipped hers to her belt loop and loved it. I clipped mine to the strap of my fanny pack - maybe that is how I broke two of them by forcing it to clip onto a wider strap than it was made for. I have a much sturdier carabiner that I bought at our local rock climbing supply store that I use to keep my keys from drifting to the bottom of my pocket book. So I am hoping that they will improve that part before I go back in November. I much prefered clipping to my waist rather than having the bottle strap around my neck!

PatsMom, do you think the mickey could be put on a stronger caribeaner? If so then I'll put that on my packing list.
Thanks all. I know everyone says the DIS rocks, but it really and truly does. And besides the really great people, where else can we obsess to our hearts content?
:rotfl:
Michelle, thanks for the pic offer. We leave in a couple of days so I'll check back before we go.
