water bottle question

I think I read somewhere that you can get free water throughout disney to refill our water bottles. Is that water filtered or not? I'm trying to decide if I want to buy those brita filtered water bottles since I also heard the water tastes bad in florida.

Anyone know this?

My kids took their water bottles in water bottle holders I made them. We bought a gallon of water and used that to fill them in the hotel. When it was gone they refilled in the water fountain. They didn't complain about the taste.

We are fine with water at restaurants, even QS ones. They will give you free cups of water, WE are not ok with the water in fountains or the water at the resort, though our last trip at POP it was not so bad. I could not even brush my teeth with that at WL.

You can pour the water from cups into your bottle if you want. We buy a gallon in the food court for the room most of the time.

Yes, the water from the counter services places are filtered.

It is filtered and tastes fine. We never messed with water bottles, just got the counter service free water whenever we needed it.
