I am in the process of making my own water bottle labels. I know some of you have already done this. How did you go about doing it? What label size/type did you buy?

Thanks!
:tigger:

Oooh! Oooh! I want to know, too!! ::anxiously awaiting answer::

:listen:

I made a template for water bottles in Word. It isn't the best, but it'll work as long as you're careful. It hasn't really been tested, I just printed out one with junk text to make sure the ink won't run when condensation gets on it.

I've never used this file sharing site before, so let me know if it works okay.

It is intended for use on 1/2 liter water bottles that look like this:

But all you need to do really is move the lines up and down to the size label that your bottles take. :)

A cheaper way would be to go to walmart or a craft store and buy Avery sticker paper and print your own. They are full regular size sheet of paper but it isn't hard to cut them. Just buy a paper cutter from the craft store. You can get a cheap one that is still really good from around $8. They have a grid and ruler on them so it is easy. I love crafts but am not really crafty and I was really happy with the ones I made for our welcome bags here is a picture.

Those are all soooo cute!! Love it!! :cheer2:

I also love the water bottle idea and now wish we had done that because it was 98 degrees outside under the hot Florida sun during our wedding! That would have been a gift the guests really appreciated! :sunny:

I love love love your labels!! I'm in the process of designing a "logo" for our wedding. Thanks for responding...I think I will just get the full sticker sheet. I wasn't sure if there were the right size labels out there already to prevent me from having to cut a million labels.

I've used my xyron machine to make the labels for my water bottles. I have one of the 500s which has been a perfect size.

Where did you get the image and letterings for you logos. They are great!!! Did you pull the image from somwhere and put it together yourself?

:goodvibes thanks for the compliments Ladies ! I guess I missed it. I am a pop in lurker lol.

as far as the clip art goes I agree it is hard to find !

That was actually done by marry monogram (marrymonogram.com) . I think I heard they won't make those anymore for people. I have just the gray scale castle if either of you want to make your own. Another bride actually made that one for me. She changed the color of the turrets and I just picked out the fonts. I think the fonts were Chopin Script and Edwardian. I have seen it used in alot of diff. ways by several brides and it always looks great :wizard: .

Those are SO CUTE! What a great idea! I can't wait to create something like this!

xyron :thumbsup2 no bride should be without one...lol

for the avid crafter/bride, may I humbly suggest a xyron sticker machine

I just had the little one (the X)

...but it turns everything into a sticker! SO handy for making your own favors! No messing around with gluesticks, spraymount, double stick tape...

This is the 500 that calanniebu was talking about:
