Were staying at POR and I was wondering if you are aloud to go to Poly and watch the parade from the beach there or is it only for hotel guest. Also, what time does it start.

Sure, it's a great place to watch the parade, and even Wishes. I think the parade starts at 9:30.

From wdwinfo (http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours.htm#water):

The Electrical Water Pageant usually follows this schedule:

Disney's Polynesian Resort - 9:00 pm
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - 9:15 pm
Disney's Wilderness Lodge - 9:35 pm
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground - 9:45 pm
Disney's Contemporary Resort - 10:05 pm
Magic Kingdom park - 10:20 pm (only during extended Magic Kingdom Park hours)

(You may want to check with the resort just in case the schedule changes or if its canceled due to the weather that day)

I do not think that these times change much if I remember from the last stay at FW.

We love doing this! We go to Poly, grab a snack at Captain Cooks, settle on the beach and watch the fireworks and then the water pageant.

Enjoy your vacation!

Thanks every one!!! we leave on Saturday and thoughts this would be great for our first night since were not doing the park that day.
