Watching MK fireworks from.......

Help me plan my Saturday night! We won't be in MK to see the fireworks from within so tell me where the next best place might be. We want to see the MK fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant on Saturday. We are thinking we might eat at O'hana but waiting (with 2 kids) to watch the fireworks from the Poly might be a long wait for them. What are your suggestions? We are staying at WL. You can't see them from there can you? What about Ft. Wilderness? Help me!

You can see the MK fireworks from the boatdock at FW, plus the Electric Water Parade goes by there. We watched them while waiting for the boat back to MK so we could get back to BCV.

The best view I've ever had of the fireworks was from the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort. It was awesome. We had a fantastic dinner (we made our ps ressies for about 90 minutes prior to the fireworks) and had leisurely appetizers and dinner and then dessert and drinks during the show. You can go right outside and watch them from the observation deck. Absolutely magical. You feel like you are right there. Can't be beat on a clear night. - Nancy

While staying at WL, we have on occasion taken the boat to MK(just for the ride) and have watched the fireworks from the boat.

We were just at WL earlier this month and saw the fireworks and parade from the WL beach. Besides us there were only a few other people so there were plenty of beach chairs.
