Watching MK Fireworks from Contemporary

We are going to MK on the day of a MVMCP but not staying for the party. I've read that there is a 4th floor observation area at the Contemporary (where we are staying) to view MK fireworks. Is this open to all resort guests? Does it usually get super crowded? We would probably have our two youngest in the stroller if possible, as the 2 y/o may fall asleep at that point.

It's open to anyone whether staying at CR or not.

Does it usually get super crowded?

Sometimes yes. Sometimes no.

No matter how crowded it is, when the fireworks are over and you're wheeling out two kids in strollers, you'll be glad you're leaving from there and not MK.

Yes that’s true!!! Especially since night before we will be leaving the fireworks from MK with the double stroller

If the kids are sleeping, maybe try to hang back a few minutes to let the worst of the crowd get out of your way. The exodus from MK after the fireworks isn't for the faint of heart, though there are no recorded casualties.
