Watching Illuminations then walking to DHS for Star Wars Fireworks...Is it doable?

We would like to begin at Epcot and watch Illuminations. Exactly how long is the show? Then we plan to walk to DHS to watch Star Wars Fireworks on 6/17. Is this doable? I'm sure crowds will be high at both parks. Where would you watch Ill so we can get out and over the DHS? The Bridge, near Rose and Crown or some other location?

It's possible but you'd have to be quick and you'll be cutting it close.

Illuminations is at 9pm and is about 12 minutes long. If you watch from the international gateway and get out quick let's say you leave Epcot at 9:15. Walking quickly it takes about 15-20 min to get to HS. Only take the boat if it's there and about to leave. If it's not and you have to wait on the boat, you'll be quicker walking. So if you walk quickly you can get to HS at about 9:35. Star Wars fireworks are at 9:45 so you'll need to get through security quickly.

You'll want to watch the fireworks from inside the park of right outside the front gate. The music isn't played outside the park so it's better if you're inside. Here's two other threads with your question
