You can book City Works on open table , or used to be able..maybe even Splitsville too. Then there isn't the no show fee like Disney.

Yeah. Haven't been there in a while. Been a crappy year, since last summer. Too much to list but hoping it's almost over (the crazy year). Maybe I'll pop back in.

Why would one go to Disney and care about watching a lousy regular season football game?

Same reason some folks go to the movies while on a beach vacation, or little kids who want to get in the pool at the hotel the whole time....it's what people enjoy doing and a vacation is about enjoying. Plus maybe not everyone in the entire party is all into Disney so it's nice to give them something they like once in a while. My DH is a sports fanatic and we'd never be at Disney or on a cruise or out to eat if I didn't find venues for him to watch some of his games.

Why would one go to Disney and care about watching a lousy regular season football game?

Because everyone isn't you? It's important to realise that people are different, but that doesn't make them wrong or right.

We all have different things! I don't get why people care about lousy overpriced purses, or lousy uncomfortable 'ears', but anything that makes someone's life happier without hurting anyone else is a good thing!

I hope that those who want to watch football manage it. Personally, I'm going to be looking for my lousy regular glass of wine.

My wife and I are both football fanatics. We absolutely loved starting our vacation on a Saturday with football at Disney Springs pre kids.

Disney and sports is a great combination for me!

Something I very much miss about ESPN Club being gone - not only for a quick bar food restaurant choice at Boardwalk that was open late, but having all the sports. I am more a hockey fan, and given I usually travel to Disney in early June, I've been up there during several Stanley Cup playoffs - ESPN was buzzing, filled with team jerseys, rooting sections, live sportscasters on site doing commentary during commercials...I even got to meet and chat with Joe Sakic of the Colorado Avalanche there. Even when it was a game or sport I didn't really care about, it was always a fun atmosphere and didn't take away from the Disney parks experience at all.
