We have a one night stay at SSR after a cruise. We are not going to any parks. What are our options for being able to watch fireworks? MK is closing at 6pm that night for a special event. Will they even still have fireworks?

It probably depends on which night and which special event. If MK closes early that night for the Halloween party that night, then there will be fireworks at MK.

Perhaps walk to DS, take a bus to Beach Club, and walk out the back for EPCOT fireworks - might be your best bet.

Are you an owner with Blue Card/DVC-Y status? If so you could do Top of the World. Yes getting into the lounge can be a wait, but usually they open the viewing deck 30ish minutes before fireworks (even party nights) and it is first come first serve to get in.

Is the special event a holiday party? The special holiday themed fireworks for parties usually go off around 10pm. I think the range is between 9:30pm and 10:15pm, depending on sunset and crowd levels/park hours.

On party days MK does not have an earlier set of fireworks. 2 firework shows same night can happen for MK After Hours party.

Just noticed I was looking at the wrong date. 😂 MK is not closing early the night we are staying.
