So I just managed to score a last-minute dinner reservation at California Grill, and wanted to watch the fireworks from there. However, our reservations are at 7:10, and the fireworks aren't until 10:00. Is there an area to wait for the fireworks without sitting at our table for 3 hours? Has anyone done this before, and if so, what is the proper protocol?

Three hours is a long time to linger. But if you eat at CG, you're allowed to come back and view the fireworks from the observation platform just off of the restaurant. It's one of the best ways to see them.

I do believe after you are done you can look around the resort, have a drink and then show your receipt from Cali Grill to gain access to the observation deck to see the show.
