I met him 3 times durring his first campaign and he really does light up a room and make you feel as if he's talking directly to you. I still have an autographed campaign poster from one of the rally's here. I was in about the third row in the reserved seeting area ( I was one of the volunteers going door to door passing out campaign literature) and you could feel the electricity in the air. I volunteered on his second camaign too and really miss having a candidate that generated so much excitement-
I was 19 the first time he was elected and there were T-shirts, buttons, and fliers all over U of L's campus. I like Kerry but it's just not the same.
