I was in our local Marshall's today in the shoe department when an attractive well dressed woman in black hose and a nice black dress was looking for a pair of shoes with her sister, that she could wear out of the store. (She didn't have any). I couldn't contain myself and I politely said, "do you mind if I ask you why you have no shoes?" (after all, its February in Ct). She said that she came into the store in her favorite Ann Klein dress shoes. This man had been watching her. He was neat and well dressed. She thought he was actually store security, having worked security detail herself. When she took off her shoes to try on shoes off the rack, he grabbed her shoes and ran out of the store. These were her favorite shoes after all and there was NO WAY she was going to loose them. She chased him out of the store, into the parking lot and up to his pick up truck. She was actually banging on the glass of his door as he drove away. She called 911 with the license number and a full description. The police arrested him less than a mile away with the evidence. Her favorite shoes! Marshalls was giving her a free pair of shoes and panty hose until she could go down to the police station to collect the evidence. She said she was going to jump in the back of the pick up but then she thought of her kids! I told her that she was going to be my hero for the week!!!
