Ok I finely decide to book our Reservation for a room only with AAA rate, to make sure I will have a room for November 2-11.
Then Later on if a code comes out, I would just change the reservation.

Well 2 days ago got a rate for All Stars Movies for $84.15 a night, called back today
They said it would cost $99 a night I asked him why it was more and he said that he didn’t know why, but the rates go up and down all the time.
I asked him if it was because of tax he said yeah that’s it, so that it would be $99 with tax, then at the end after we talked and he got all my stuff done he said it would be $111 a night to hold it.
I told him are you sure you are giving me AAA rate he said yes.
So I booked room and looked on line and found out that he gave me rack rate which really got me up set.

Hello

I just want some kind of rate, is that too much to ask, that I get AAA if you have rooms left for AAA rate.

Well I called back and ask another person to look at reservation and see what kind of rate I was getting. “Rack rate or AAA rate?”
Told him what happen on my last phone call, so I gave him reservation number and he looked it up, and said you’re getting rack rate, I will fix it for you and he did.

So now I’m getting AAA rate, has any one else have this happen?
Do you feel that they just don’t want to give any good rates, or do they just want to cheat people who don’t know what the rate is?

So watch your rate.

I don't think that is neccessarily the problem. Some AAA agents are more knowledgeable about Disney then others.A good percentage of the time Most of the DISers know more then the agents.I went thru several agents at AAA before I found one that specializes in Disney( I found her while at a Dr appt and complaining about Disney CRO) .I have also had issues with some of the other agents.I find it best to know what the Disney quote is, then I price it out myself ,then I call AAA Boscov travel etc...:goodvibes

I'm pretty sure the OP booked directly through Disney.

I think it's a good idea to know what the rack rate is before calling to get a discount code- that way you know what to expect. CM's sometimes make mistakes or don't know what they are doing.

I dont think it is a matter of the CM's not wanting to give good rates, but more a matter of CM's who are improperly trained or just dont care. Very disappointing, considering the amount of money we pay out for these vacations.

I Agree!!!:goodvibes
