Just like on the Desperate Housewives thread - I was annoyed by the use of "Charmay"

Ok, this is the ONLY show I've been able to get here (through itunes ) but I do not remember this character.

That pic would have been mildly funny a couple of days ago. Today it is that much funnier because it is poking fun at the concept of "siggy police". And we all know why laughing at the siggy police is particularly funny today. Admit it - there is only one reason why that pic was posted this afternoon.
BTW, I laughed at it, even though I don't agree with making a mockery of DIS rules that are designed to make these Boards function smoothly. I do have a sense of humor! But I don't agree that it was JUST a funny pic, nothing more.

Yes. Because it was funny. And yes it's more funny because of the whole other thread thing. But still, funny. Even if I were the OP of that thread I would think it was funny, but hey that's just me. And honestly if someone is going to get all upset about that, they really need to take their panties, unwad them, and put them back on properly.

Holy crap. I don't think Briarmom was mocking anyone, just having some fun with a "controversial" thread. And as for my posting the lyrics, that was all in good fun as well. Po- po in the first picture was just CRYING out for the Cops theme.

For what is worth, I don't think most of the sigs are that bad. There have only been a couple that were just too much, mostly the pics just oversized mainly. I apologize if I sounded 'snarky' on the other thread, just at first I agreed, but then saw it was fastly getting ugly. As I stated in the other thread I see the sigs like the neighborhood Christmas displays. Just waiting to see who wins . I like seeing the pics of the kids and pets.

The only offense I had was with the picked on in school part. Yes I was one of 'those' that constantly was picked on, thru out school, even though I never did anything but be born. Which explains the reason I am shy, and don't make friends well, so I did get a hurt by that crack.

I'm really, really not trying to be offensive, because I like you normally, TM2. But attitudes like this - "I know it irritates him so I'm going to make my sig even bigger!" - just annoy me more. Just like on the Desperate Housewives thread - I was annoyed by the use of "Charmay" bu never said anything (ignored the post) but then someone else pointed it out and people got offended and decided to continue to use the name just to piss the other person off. (And yes, I know I'm bitter to mention a character that hasn't been on the show for a couple weeks now.)

I just don't see the point in deliberately provoking someone, for any reason. Like my mom says, "She'll stop bugging you if you ignore her."

But like y'all said, I'm bitter and not any fun, so feel free to keep starting various threads to continue this feud into next week. The Ty thing is dying down, so we need something else to waste bandwidth with.

I didn't change my sig at all....but can't say that I care if anyone else does.
Honestly, everything has been quiet on the multiple boards and I guess someone figured it was high time for some drama. Pretty pathetic subject to cause a ruckus over.....someone could have at least posted under a "secret" name about their hubby having an affair or their preteen going through puberty.
