Took DME yesterday afternoon. We were actually looking forward to leaving, as the crowd levels and heat really got to us this week.
So we are relaxing and painfully watching the DME movie on the way back, and I say painfully because the movie makes you NOT want to leave.
So we, and only one other group, arrive at a terminal and the driver says ok, everyone wait for your luggage outside. Now I told her TWICE what airline we were going to, so why would their be a problem? We all get outside, tip the driver, go in, and ok, where is Southwest? We couldn't find it because she dropped us at the wrong terminal.
We had to take our 3 little ones and probably 10 bags including carryons and hoof it over to the other terminal. We wouldn't have tried this on our own, but the ever so helful United employee I asked for help told us 'it wasn't far at all.'
Because of this, I don't think we could do DME again. I'm sorry I tipped the driver. I just can't believe she dropped us at the wrong terminal. I totally know it is a free service, and I appreciate that. But it wasn't alltogether free with the tipping, and geesh I thought we would be dropped off where our plane was! Its like Disney cares when you arrive, they take your luggage and say come right this way, get on our bus and we'll do the work. But when its time to go, and you've spent your money, they don't care how you get home. Very, very disappointing.
