Watch out Mickey I have arrived...Trip Report **Updated 3/28**

Kim, thanks for your comments on my TR. We are originally from NJ but moved down to Texas a long time ago. Still have family in the Westfield area.

I like your TR and comparing what you did to what we did.

I also do a lot of flying, mostly long international flights. When I get onboard I have my whole routine and just like to get into my cocoon and prepare for the next 7-10 hours in the plane. Just leave me alone.

We have to go through Newark when we visit family in NJ and that is one of the worst airports around. It is just tooooooo congested. You pull back from the gate and then it takes 45 minutes in line behind all the other planes trying to take off.

At least I am use to it. They are trying to change the air patterns over NJ for Newark and the 2 NYC airports but people are already complaining. That is why the ticket says 2 and a half hours to FL when it is only 2. Congestion.

I am working on the next part of my TR right now.

NOTE I WILL POST PICS WHEN I GET HOME. I AM AT A HOTEL IN CT FOR WORK AND CANNOT GET INTO PHOTOBUCKET.

It was so nice to sleep in. Ok so I didn’t sleep it. I was still up at 6 am. Yes, I am freaking nuts. LOL. Jen and me went to Downtown Disney. The Disney bus ride was something to write home about. We get on the downtown Disney bus and there was 3 ladies and the bus driver. They were talking and laughing. They asked us for our initials and they tried to guess our names. Mine was way too easy. I swear for the morning they were hysterical. We finally got to Downtown Disney and just walked around. Jen made a light saber for her brother who’s birthday it was. If it wasn’t for the CM we wouldn’t have been able to put it together. It was a double saber and it was about 5 feet long. She had to take it apart in order to get it in her luggage. Warning the stitch on top of the building spits water at you. LOL. Duck if you do not want to get went. Then we went to the Rainforest Café. It took us about 5 minutes to be seated. Of course, when it rains in the rainforest there is one kid that has to cry. We already knew what we were having for lunch. Burgers. Jen got a drink I don’t remember what it was called but it was orange and good. LOL. I had a sip of it and it was great. She got it in a cup where the bottom sparkled. Well, she couldn’t figure out how to turn it off. Finally I took the glass and held it above my head and found the off button. I was in heaven in the scrapbook store. I bought a book of scrapbook paper and some stickers. I thought they would have more variety. After that we went back to the hotel. Jen and me just hung around the hotel as we were waiting for Michelle who wasn’t coming in till about 9 pm. Even before Michelle left NC she got a notice from the airline saying that they were taking off an hour later. We went to sit down by the piano pool and of course we were surrounded by cheerleaders. The cheerleaders were doing stunts in the pool. Nothing person but there are other people enjoying the pool do not do stunts in the pool. I walked around to take pictures of the other sections of the hotel. I noticed while walking around something the hotel did right. They stuck the cheerleaders and dancers in the back buildings. Jen who was on spring break brought books to the pool of course she didn’t study. Around 3:30 pm she goes to me let’s go to Disney. LOL. Her AAA only had 3 and 5 day passes so she got the 5 day. Luckly, for her I had a days left on a ticket from 2003. It took awhile for the Magic Kingdom bus to come. When we finally got there I was all giddy like a 2 year old. Remind me next time to bring a bag with one zipper. My mom had taken my simple backpack the one with only one zippers. She gave me one that had 4 compartments. Having to open them all at security plus a small purse takes time. We finally got through security. How hard people is it to put your card in the slot and stick your finger on the blue finger reader when it turns blue. It was different then the last time I was there but it doesn’t take a brain scientist. The first thing I saw was the castle. I was ready to cry. I have waited forever for this trip and the last time I was at Disney I didn’t go to the MK. I took out the camera and started snapping. You are never too old for the castle.

The first ride we did was It’s A Small World. I love that ride and the line always moves fast. It’s a small world after all…After that we decided to do Dumbo well the wait was about 30 minutes but I have never done it before. Jen told me a story about when she was younger and her and her parents waited 2 hours for the ride and cried when she didn’t get the pink dumbo so she didn’t go on. We finally got up to where they load the riders on the ride when they let us get on I made a mad dash for the pink dumbo since there was only 2 of them. Mission accomplished I got the pink one for Jen. I had never been on Dumbo and I looked down and got dizzy. LOL. Yes I do get motion sickness. Heck, I get motion sickness sitting in the passengers side of the car.

<insert dumbo pics here>

I took some pictures of the castle while on dumbo. I do not remember if we did any other rides since we had all Friday to do them with Michelle. As we were leaving that night the SpectroMagic parade started. We only stayed for 3 floats cause we knew we had to beat the crowds back to the hotel. We got back to the hotel and still no Michelle. She had to get her luggage instead of having ME take it cause they would have been at our door at midnight delivering it. We ran to get dinner and she called while sitting in the food court so I got up and went and got her. We were going to wait for her but out tummies said otherwise. We went back to the room and showed her everything. With 3 huge suitcases in the room, hey we are girls after all, there wasn’t much room in the room. We just hung out and went to bed early since we knew we would have a long weekend.

Enjoying your report! My trip isn't a success unless I've done "It's a Small World." I love that ride, it's a must do for each trip!

Can't wait to see pics!

Now I cannot get It's a small world out of my head. LOL.

When I was younger I use to be scared of the dolls.

Has nothing to do with my TR. But.....

Kim-

Glad you are back to your writing. I hope the business trip is going well. Are you tired of take out & room service yet?:goodvibes

Where in DTD did you get the light saber? I would love to go there for my ds!

I have a little Dumbo story to share from my childhood!

I was 5 when our family took the vacation of all vacations. I remember being TERRIFIED on Dumbo because I swore if you pulled on the bar to make yourself go up, and you didn't stop it in time, the Dumbo would crack off and really fly!! Funny!!

I'm so glad you could help your friend conquer her long-time life trauma!

Hey I will write another chapter tomorrow. I am under the weather huge migraine and can barely think straight right now.
