How are the binders coming along? And the hem? I usually do my hems by hand instead of machine.

No way.. I do not trust myself with a needle and thread. unless i am sewing a ripped stuffy...

I'm glad Ariana answered most of your FP+ questions and Jennifer supplied the afternoon parade info. I really think there are so many kinks in this new FP system that they'll be tweaking it for some time to come. Fixing one aspect of it ruins another! I do hope it gets better. I love picking them ahead (didn't think I would) but I really liked the old fp system with the tickets. I would be willing to pay extra for fp privileges all day. I think they do that at Universal? Anyway, all these questions make it hard to plan!!

yes me too!!! All these changes are making me nuts.. all i want is a couple of the rides and the fireworks parades...

As for books, I love the Unofficial Guide and buy it every couple of years. You can get it at the library too. I also love Disney World Trivia book and the Disney A to Z Encyclopedia. But you can't beat All ears and a couple other websites for up to date reliable info.

I also want to encourage you to get to the gym. Losing weight aside, working out (especially with machines) strengthens your body in a way that aerobic exercise can't. That was the biggest benefit I got from it when I was doing it. I too plan to get back to the gym now that my lengthy trips to Virginia a done. At least for now.

yeah that didn't happen this weekend..

Is this turning into a single family trip now??? I didn't realize that was maybe a possibility.

i have no idea to tell you the truth. we have not talked about Disney at all. So i no longer know what their plans are!!

It feel like years.. and years.. I AM GOING!!! The anticipation of being able to tell the kids we are going to Disney is killing me slowly.

Every once in a while I will look at Meg and say POLY. She will rebuttal with LION KING. We go back and forth a couple of times
Zack will chime in with I don’t care where we stay as long as we are there…
Matt will yell at us STOP your making me sad next year is too far away… My kids are Disney fanatics. The reveal is going to be one of my most proud-est of mommy moments!!!!! Besides being pregnant and giving birth this.. I am looking forward to most!!!

I am working diligently on the binders. I love the way it is coming together. I keep changing them and playing around.


Weekend stuff:
Saturday I had the day off… Can you believe it? A whole day off.. What does one do when they have a day off? ERRANDS!!! I ran to the mall for Easter shopping! I read on Ariana’s report her Husband Jim bought the Simpson’s house. IT WAS REALLY NEAT! So I bought it for my own Zack the Lego Maniac!!! This will take time in putting together, once he is done he will be so proud!!!
Matt has some video games and Peanut has more stuffed animals.. like she needs them..
I did splurge on myself! A while ago I lost my celtic trinity earrings the drain ate one… I have been mourning over them for quite some time. These aren’t exactly the same ones I am just happy to have them!

Then I went to the book store.. this is as dangerous as a Disney store to me… I finally bought Capture my Chicago where my photography was published. Meg has two books Zack has a book.
Then I gravitated to the travel section… I bought the Birnbaum's Walt Disney World: The Official Guide along with the kids version!!! MORE fun stuff for the Surprise box!!!
I didn’t buy the hidden Mickey book since my total was already up to 89.00 I had to call it quits.. I will be getting it..
I did stop at Michaels looked around for ideas to make cute stuff … I have to tell you guys I am not crafty. so please know it was made of love.. LOL…

Finally made it home in enough time to browse through the books since the kids were not far behind me. I hid it all.

After everyone showered we were out the door heading over to Nicole and family’s house!!! We have not seen them in decades. I was great to see them and what else? TALK DISNEY!!! I was really looking forward to dinner.. There is a Mexican place I have been anticipating on trying it did NOT disappoint!!! Yummmmmm.
It was great to see them just relax and hang out! Thank you again for having us! Our house next time!!!
Did you know she and her family will arrive the day we are leaving??? I would like to try to meet up with them somewhere along the way.

Sunday I worked. The kids and I had MOVIE NIGHT! Is anyone here is a Dean Koontz fan? The Odd Thomas books were made into a MOVIE!!! I was a bit nervous letting the kids watch it with me. Thankfully we all enjoyed it! I hope they keep up with the movies the books are so much fun witty and entertaining!
Just to ensure the kids wouldn’t be up all night with nightmares we watched frozen right afterwards and played Monopoly Jr.

I am making Zack’s first. The first itinerary pages will be the same for all three obviously. Then I will have fun with the keep busy pages..



I really am having fun playing with this.. See give me computers- pictures- and programs I can be crafty!!!

Awwwww...the binder is great Mo! You have done so much planning since I last checked in. I know it feels like a year away, but it really is coming up fast!

Just a note on the FP+ parade viewing. I saw an article on FB about this and they said the view is horrible from that spot and you are better off to just watch the parades from Frontierland. In fact, the Festival of Fantasy parade I heard runs in reverse, so it will go through Frontierland first. We love to watch parades from there......way less crowded than Main Street.

Sorry, I'm a little slow. The FP+ we had available in mid-March was for the Festival of Fantasy parade. We didn't use it so I can't comment on the location.

I could never keep this kind of secret! Good for you! You have inspired me, though. The next time we have annual passes I'm going to surprise each of my girls with their very own day trip with just me. So excited about this idea! Although, I have no idea when we're getting passes again.

Love the binder. I may have to put those together for our next trip - I fear the little one will be giving up her nap soon so I'll need something to keep them both busy during down time.

Mo, so sorry about your computer problems! That is always such a pain! I'm glad you had a good weekend and an awesome Easter shopping trip. What fun! I couldn't stop buying stuff for my grandkids when I was in Virginia! Books, Easter dresses, swimwear, shoes, activities, DVDs…stop the madness! Then I had to buy the same for the two in Colorado. Gotta keep it even, right? I had to come home cause I was broke!!

The first Disney book I bought was Steve Birnbaum's Official Guide. I got the Unofficial Guide from the library. They both were such a huge help!!

Step-Dad (Mike) update:
went into surgery late. took about 2 hours. ended up taking a foot of his colon. more then we had thought.
Once in recovery the meds started to subside he was in a LOT of pain.
I feel so bad for him. so talking and things weren't happening. i was in communication with Rhonda (oldest sister) all day. So i knew what was going every second.
Happy my Mom had someone with here. Oh the youngest sister Kelly was there too. but she is as bad as answering a phone then my mother is...
Rhonda left the hospital about 8pm after they gave him a large dose of Morphine. Once he was out and fast asleep She left.
This morning Rhonda called to tell me the rest. He will most likely have the catheter out. and hopefully the drainage tube. (not even going to tell you where that is...) He hasn't had food for 2 days yet they are keeping a watchful eye on his Diabetes.
OK we will call each other once we find out more information. I was going to call the hospital about 8:30 hope to give him enough time to sleep off whatever drugs are in him. If either one of us knew anything more we will call each other.
after i spoke with her i called my Mom to see how he did during the night. She was going to take care of the dogs then head on up to the hospital. call me once she got there.
I called Rhonda back to let her know what My Mom's plans are. I will be going up there after work no matter what and will meet Rhonda there. Kelly isn't answering her phone again yet is supposed to be there this morning too.
Rhonda called back a few minutes later to say she called up there and he had answered!!! YAY! Gave me the heads up -he is up and talking. I jumped on this and called.
He sounded good. not totally himself. But i joked around with him he can't laugh not so nice of me at this point... Oh well told him i will see him after work.

That is about it for know if you can keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery and good news on what the test results come back as..

What the*&^?!?!? Just kidding.. Good to know they had it. I am not so worried about the day parades as i am about wishes and castle show.. especially since the damn Dessert Party is giving me such problems..

Yes they are a lot of fun.. I have about a 16 hour drive ahead of us (one way)so this should help with the time there and back. plus the movies, video games, sing alongs, the way there won't be so bad as we will be driving though the night.. home.. another story...

i did!!! The kids have these mason jar things. Meg counted it the other day and has about 22.00 she is OVERJOYED!!! the main one is HUGE like the cheese ball container?? HUGE.. if we do fill that thing up i am sure it will pay for the entire trip plus a cruise!

Mike update.
Yesterday i went straight to the hospital after work. Funny. I was escorted up to his room.. i think they might think i would find the looney ward.. and stay..
When i walked in was shocked. His color was perfect he was alert, all tubes and things were gone!
Yet he is in PAIN lots and lots of pain.
**Have to edit here.. I believe i said they took 12 inches of his colon?? No. It was his Large intestine.. Sorry i am just all over the place with this.. **
He did get up and walk around a bit in the room then he has breathing exercises.
Breathing because they puff up the chest for the surgery not he has to get all that crap out of his system. Then his shoulders hurt. because of the puffing plus when your having surgery they keep your arms out to the sides. he has a torn roter cuff.
Then his stomach muscles. They had to cut the muscle. So pain.. and lots of it. Mike is being a great patient and doing what he is supposed to do. He is taking LOTS of morphine for all the pain.
He has not had anything to eat or drink since Sunday. Today they will start him on a clear liquid diet.. at least he will get something in him!!! I can't image not eating or drinking for 3 days. shocking is he isn't that crabby.
Rhonda and i were laughing and he yelled at us cuz he can't laugh. it hurts.
so there went more morphine..
I hope to get some news on the test results SOON. I am a wreck wondering what is going on...

I want to tell you all how much it means to me to have you thinking-praying for him. I just love this wonderful man and pray he is OK.


Also want to add to the this prayer circle. D~ Husband Josh is having a procedure on his back today.
