Let's go with the sad new first. Talking with Jen, she and family have to cancel their trip. Because we have CRAP insurance which does NOT cover braces- they have to cancel Disney to pay for Logan and Jack braces. Sad. I am so sorry they will not be joining us this trip. I understand totally as braces are EXPENSIVE!! i hope they plan a trip in the future - i will help them EVERY WAY!!
We are talking a possible Wisconsin Dells trip.

I need help.
looking at my plans something dawned on me. I have a reservation for Harmony Barber shop, and Pirates league.

Pirates league- for Meghan - she wants her "face painted" translation- she wants make up. the mermaid one specifically. Which is fine. LOVE pirates league it is SO MUCH FUN!

Harmony Barber shop. Does NOT have the color hair gel. Ok well the boys can have their hair styled with pixi dust..
umm..... no..
The boys get buzz cuts for the summer. Their decision not mine. So there is NOTHING for them to style, redundant for pixi dust.
I would ask. but i have kept this a secret for so long i really want to ask only when i need too.
SO.
i went researching. BBB. they have the color gel for the knights package. Which is perfect. do you think Meg will like the BBB? i know she wanted to do this. BUT she does NOT like her hair pulled tight.
What do you think??? Should i get reservations at BBB for all three? My boys are boys. i don't know how they will react to a girlie place..
(Thinking out loud here) Since we won't be traveling with our friends now ( ) maybe they won't be too embarrassed?
UGH! why did BBB have to put up a 'B' about Harmony doing hair gel?!?! really putting me in a pickle.

Do the boys have any interest in getting their faces painted? Maybe you could do all 3 at Epcot, AK, or DHS? If you do BBB, I'm sure you could tell them Meg doesn't want her hair pulled tight. My DD really wanted the popstar hair and I mentioned to her Fairy Godmother in Training that I thought the bun was more appropriate for her costume. She managed to talk DD into it.

It is such a bummer that they can no longer do it at Harmony. That was perfect. If Meghan does Harmony, it only takes about 15 or 20 minutes as opposed to much longer at BBB. And if she doesn't get her hair cut, it's all of $5! $15 with the hair cut. I'm sure Megs would love the BBB and they would leave her hair down if that's what she wanted, but unless the boys are doing it, I would just stick with Harmony BS and she'll be just as happy I think. Saves a lot of time and money.

That was absolutely crazy with the crowds for Elsa and Anna M&G!! While I was looking at that I was thinking, wow, you could get in some serious rides while so many people are tied up for the M&G!! Of course when you go, it may be a bit better since it will be less crowded. I would love to see them myself! But I would NEVER wait in a huge line!!! And sadly, I have a feeling the Mine Train and Elsa and Anna may both be 1st tier.

Well.. I called Disney.
I changed all my reservations to party of 5 i did it with a heavy heart. i will miss them!!

Changed a couple of the times nothing huge.. all are staying the same same days same plan SO FAR.. I was worried about BOG. thankfully it stayed the same!

I canceled the Pirates league and Harmony barber shop. All three will be at BBB on their birthday a little later then i would like but it is what it is and we will enjoy it all. the boys will be sporting gel hair with mickey heads Swords and shields. Meg will be trotting like a princess! this will make for some really cool pictures!!!

i am off to re do lists budgets and research!

I see that someone already answered your question about booking the FP+ at midnight 60 days out. Definitely do the Anna and Elsa one first! They are very limited from everything I've read. I sent that link you posted showing the A&E madness to Jim and he's finally convinced we need to avoid that meet. I think we are going to head to Merida instead. Hopefully her line will be a bit shorter now that everyone is headed to A&E in the morning!

Oh Boy.

Yesterday on Destination America they are showing all Disney again. OF COURSE i had to watch them again. For the umpteenth time.
Zack and Meg were outside playing before the storms rolled in. Matt was inside.

I said look Matt! he groans, rolls his eyes and BEGS for me to turn it off. Why Matt? I'm in the Disney mood aren't you?
NOOOOOOOOOOO BEGS AND BEGS me to turn it off. now i am a bit worried. He then says i just want to be surprised when we go. I don't want to watch all the new stuff on TV. and we aren't going until next year makes me sad.

PHEW! OK no more Disney watching at home. well when Matt is around i have to tone it down a bit.

Then talking with Meg again. and our argument about Poly or AoA. she tells me in her most defeated sad little girl voice. Okkkkey. but please Mommy can we stay at Art of Animation next time we go?

Sorry for the messy house.

i redid my budget and still on top! I now need to change my plans to include the changes from yesterday. along with park times! need to update lists etc.

Once i have this completed (again) fix the binders for the kids
I promise i will reveal all my plans to you!

Because swimming in salt water sucks. I have always hated it. Living as close to the ocean as we do.....I love going to the beach, but not swimming there. Those pools on the cruise were horrible....they were unheated because that does strange stuff to salt water. They smelled horrible. I don't know, maybe others like it....but yuck. Good luck
