Watch Out DCL...oopsiDAISY is Having a Quackattack on the High Seas!!!

YAY :cool1::banana::thumbsup2:cool1::banana::thumbsup2:cool1::banana::thumbsup2 for only 6 more months to your cruise! It is getting close now! Congrats on making another payment, too. I'm sure it is a great feeling!!!

I loved your movie night. I can't wait to see what you do for the Cars movie.

We had such a fantastic weekend! We started our evening Friday with a six months celebration surprise for the kids:

Gabriel chose that moment to have a meltdown because he had gotten into mud TWICE in the half hour he had been home...and had to change clothes TWICE. because they were headed to spend the night with cousins. :faint:

Anywho... after he calmed down he LOVED the balloons and actually hugged Mickey a time or two. :goodvibes

The sign says "6 MONTHS til we Cruise with Mickey!!!!"

After taking the kids over to SIL to spend the night with the cousins and spend all day Saturday with them, Brian and I went out to dinner with his parents, and did a little shopping too. It was a nice, relaxing evening and we had a great time.

Saturday morning Brian's folks came over with some breakfast. We had big plans for this day. Brian and his dad had outdoor projects to work on all day, and MIL and I had indoor projects to do. What sort of indoor projects?:confused3 CRUISE related indoor projects! :cool1: I worked on FE exchange gifts. I cannot show pictures, because I have cruise friends subbed to this PTR...but I am happy to report that I have all ladies and little girl gifts DONE!!! ::yes:: Of course, I may have to make a few more later on when the sign up in closed and I actually recieve the list of who I will be exchanging with, but for now I am finished with those. :thumbsup2

So, I actually CAN show pictures of what MIL was working on...

Our FE is finished, and I LOVE the way it turned out! :lovestruc D~ actually embroidered the Mickey heads for us to put on it. THANK YOU D~!!! :flower3:

Another shot of the finished product:

I finally feel like this cruise is going to happen. I am so glad to be close enough to the date to do some actual planning stuff. I am in Dis~addict heaven!!! pixiedust:

Hi! :flower3: I'm jumping over from DMguerts report and wanted to see if I could join in.

I love your weekly celebrations, great way to keep the excitment going!

Your kids are adorable, maybe since Gabe likes to dress in costume he will work at Disney some day!

You all will be on the water the same time as us (if everything goes the way it is planned). My neice is getting married on the Dream leaving out on 10/09/2014.

Welcome!!! I have falllen dreadfully behind on here...because of my stinking camera...or stinking computer, not sure which one to destroy. :headache:

Oh, so cool that you will be cruising too! Do you plan to do a TR for your cruise? :hyper:

Okay, I am a very frustrated Diser this week. I have a camera full of photos to share from this past weekend, and my camera and computer are giving each other the silent treatment for some reason. :sad2:

When I plug my camera in to the computer there SHOULD be a little pop up box that appears to click on "import photos/video". This has always happened...until this week. For whatever reason this will not pop up. So I click on "computer" to find the camera on there...no camera, no removable device shows up at all. :confused3 I really have no idea what the deal is. :crazy2: So, if B is not doing schoolwork on our home computer tonight, I will try to get the photos uploaded to photobucket and post tomorrow. :rolleyes2 Wish me lots of this stuff tonight... pixiedust:

Wishing you lots of pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust: because I'm selfish and want to see pictures. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I have been able to FINALLY get my pictrures from the weekend uploaded. We had Good Friday off, so BFF and I loaded up picnic lunches, strollers, bags and kids and headed to our first zoo outing of the year. We had a beautiful day for it. The zoo was VERY crowded, but we knew it would be...so we were prepared to have a great time anyhow.

The kiddos (including gangsta Gabe :sad2: ):

Her littlest cutie:

She and I... and my gorgeous bag from SerendipiD~(https://www.facebook.com/SerendipiDBoutique?fref=ts):

Every other year our zoo has a Dinotrek that is SO COOL!!!

BFF's oldest son is Charity's age, but he and Gabe are two peas in a pod...for real! They are SO. MUCH. ALIKE. that is uncanny. They have a ball when they are together.

A random funny looking "bird" dino:

Of course, Charity was in her full on mothering role all day:

I love the way I captured Gabe and BFF's son in this next one:

A cute "selfie" of Charity and I:

My sweet Jillybean...with a misty smoke around her:

And another fun photo of the kids:

There was a Dino-dig:

The zoo is situated on an OLD farm...here are the boys chilling on the front porch of the historical home:

Love this shot of the little one being mesmorized by a pony just his size:

And of course, real animals, too:

From here it was on to the REAL animals:

BFF and her guys:

The boys again:

I heart giraffes:

And these are always so beautiful to me with such a photogenic enclosure, too:

We had our picnic lunch after this, no photos. But then when we continued to visit the animals...it was nap time for ALL of them, because we encountered a lot of this:

One of the things the boys were looking forward to were the bamboo trails, so we had to get one last photo for the day:

Are you sure those were real animals and not animatronic? :confused3 :rotfl2:

I have never heard that myself on the Safari but have read where other people have. :thumbsup2

I love all of the pictures, especially the ones with the kids goofing around.

This settles it though for me. Next time Jim and I head up to Nashville, I'm dragging his butt to the zoo. As you've probably figured out, he's not a fan but he will have to put up with it for me.

Ohhhhhhhhh the ZOO!!! Your zoo is beautiful!!!! Love the natural aspect of it all!!! pictures are beautiful so are the kiddos!!!

We love our zoo!!
And YES, you must visit the zoo here! :cool1: And I must join you, because I have a membership and I can get one guest in free with it, too. :rolleyes1

that natural aspect is exactly why I love our zoo so much! I had grown up visiting the St. Louis Zoo. While that zoo is MUCH bigger than ours, with many more animals...I just love ours because it is so beautiful, and the animals have much more space to roam. :goodvibes

I am a week behind in posting Easter pictures since my camera and computer decided to not get along last week, but better late than never...right? :confused3 The good news is that I will do yet another update later in the week since we had a movie night this past weekend. :cool1:

Sooooo, Easter. Here are the baskets:

Kiddos raiding the loot:

Wow, they don't look too excited do they??? I think they were probably still half asleep. :sad2:

Here is a happier photo:

Those of you who have followed my reports for long know exactly which tradition comes next for us each year.... RESURRECTION ROLLS!!!!

For the curious, here is the significance of the rolls:

Take a big marshmallow (Jesus)
Roll it in melted butter (oils His body was annointed with)
Coat it in Cinnamon Sugar (spices his body was covered in for burial)
Wrap it tightly in a cressant roll (grave clothes)

"Bury" it in the Tomb (oven), and cook til' done golden brown. When they come out the marshmallow is melted into the roll, the roll looks hollow in the inside...Jesus' body has risen!!!

Great little lesson on the true meaning of Easter...and a delicious little treat for breakfast, too! :thumbsup2

And now, pictures of my children all dressed up for church:

beautiful!!! SO SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

I KNEW i was forgetting something this Easter!!!! I wanted to do your Resurrection rolls!!!
