watch fireworks from beach at other resorts?

if we stay at AKV can we go to another resort to watch fireworks from the beach? which is best resort to view?

In typical circumstances, yes. Best beaches to watch from are at GF and Poly.

Upcoming, hard to say.

Prior to the building of the cabins, the Poly beach was a great place to watch fireworks.
Haven't tried since they were built. Not sure how much of an impact they had. But being on the lake, I would expect some impact.

The Poly Beach is now reduced so much that it gets packed like sardines watching the Magic Kingdom Fireworks. And nobody knows if it will be reduced to only people staying at the Poly once it reopens.

The TTC is another good place to watch the Magic Kingdom Fireworks - near the boat ramp.

I thought that poly already has signs that beach is for poly guest only

It has only been enforced holidays.

I was going to say Poly but after reading above posts that many not be possible going forward. Sorry to hear it may no longer be an option.

Yeah, I don't know what's going to happen post-Covid-19, but we stayed at the Poly in April of 2018 and went to a little rise above the bungalows and could see all of the fireworks (its about where the "Bora Bora" sign is in the below map). It rises enough that the bungalows weren't an issue. It was also pretty sparse in terms of crowds, maybe 3-4 other families or groups there and no one checking to see if we were guests. There are speakers everywhere playing the music. The only slight issue was there were no places to sit other than the ground, but that wasn't a big deal for us. It was awesome!



I would imagine that if you were to go to the grounds right near the GCH maybe there'd be castmembers checking people, but didn't see any CMs let alone anyone checking for room keys or magicbands at that rise.

Contemporary/BLT is an option too. No beach, but nice view from the bridge/outside observatory (4th floor?) or from the grass below.

I think the big question on reopening is if they allow visitors at any resort.
