Hello everyone,

we will be be in WDW in April (coming from Belgium)
To watch the MK fireworks I thought about making a PS for LTT
or else go to a resort and make a PS for Ohana or a restaurant
in another resort..
Any suggestions, and if I ask a windowseat with my PS will I be assured of having that ??
thanks for your ideas..:p

Even with a request you are never guaranteed of having a window seat...with one exception...if you are getting engaged and go through the engagement planning office they will get you the window seat, but it's costly! When you make a reservation, they usually won't even take special requests like that.

You can't see the fireworks from the LTT. In fact you can't see much from their windows, as the glass is made in a way that makes it cloudy and distorted.

Of the top of my head, you can see MK fireworks from Ohana, Narcooses, Cindy's Royal Table, Cal Grill. Perhaps the very tops from Citrico's. Again, there is absolutely no gurantee of a window table, and if you ahve more than two in yoru party you will likely not get one, as most of the window seats at these restaurants are tables for two.

Thanks Anne. In that case, I think we'll stay and watch the fireworks in the park, and go for diner in a resort afterwards !

You can try Cindy's for dinner, but there is no guarentee you will get a window seat. If dining inside the park is not madatory, can I recommend a couple of alternatives? Why not try the California Grill for dinner, then step out on their private deck to view the fireworks. Another suggestion would be to dine at O'Hana's (very good food here) around 7pm (if fireworks start at 9pm), then stroll out to the beach and sit on one of the lounges or hammocks and watch the fireworks from the beach. You can also watch the water parade from here too! If you want to watch from inside, you can request a window table at either of these restaurants, but there is no promise that you will get one.

They have actually closed the engagement department.

I can also tell you at CRT on the window there are four tables of 4, there are 3 tables that are for two, two tables for 6. And right across from those are also good views of the fireworks and there are 4 tables for 4 and one table for 6 (or 7 if needed). So if you make your PS for30-45 mins before the fireworks and tell them you are willing to wait you might get a window table. If not you can watch them from fantasyland while you wait.

Ducklite has some good advice. Besides--if you did happen to get that elusive table seat, at fireworks time you might find dozens of people standing right at (or next to) your table as they crowd the window areas to see the fireworks.
One other option (and it's what we often do)--you can have dinner at California Grill or Narcoosees at fireworks time and when the fireworks start, just get up and go out to an observation deck or porch. It's what lots of folks do at fireworks time, and service in those restaurants sort of stops during the fireworks anyway.
That way--you can eat dinner at fireworks time and still say you saw the fireworks!!
