I was doing some research with Orbitz vs. Cheap Tickets and their pricing on WBC Resort, the timeshare portion. You can use a promo code on both, but always double check their numbers when looking. This is what I came up with.

For July 22-27, 2018
One-Bedroom

Orbitz, with a 15% off promo code
Total came to- $870.17

Cheaptickets, with a 16% off promo code
Total came to- $925.77

The difference came into play with Orbitz having a private sale of 30% off of a 5-night stay and
CheapTickets having a private sale of 25% off of a 5-night stay. So be very careful and really compare
numbers. The 16% off promo will save you less than the 15% off promo.

If you enjoy your off-site experience, you may want to consider other ways of renting an off-site condo that would have been less than the rate you have. Just something to think about if you decide to stay off-site again. Have a wonderful vacation...I hope you like WBC as much as many of us do. :wave2:

I only rent from owners. The saving are even much bigger than this. The more flexible you are the better the discounts.

So when renting from owners, where are the best sites to look into this? Is Ebay safe? Others?

$100/nt is only inside 45 days. They do become available, but maybe not for your specific dates. You have to be flexible.

Right, I understand the need to be flexible with almost everything price related to Disney/Florida trips. I am just really starting to do my research/homework on this place, but so far I am rather impressed with what I have seen. With a party of just four we would have the option of the hotel and/or a one-bedroom, with a few more guest would need a two-bedroom. I have not seen that many three bedroom units available, but those would be really great for a large party.

I really would like to stay here at some point, but not a whole week, maybe 4-5 nights, then a couple nights with my DVC. This place looks to me like some of Disney's very best competition, I really value a nice pool/mini water park area.

This is just my opinion and each person may be different. With large parties, getting two 2BR or 1 1BR and 1 2BR sometimes is better. I was there with and talking with a dad in a larger group. They opted for 2 2BR units, asked for them to be next to each other. They wound up being right across from each other (one looking out over the parking lot and the other over the pools and lake). The group put the kids in one and the adults in the other. I am not talking 6 year olds. They had older teenage kids and some younger siblings. This just made it more peaceful for them and the kids loved it too.

However, be aware that there is no guarantee you will be even remotely close when booking multiple units. We have had times when they are on the same floor in the same building and other times where they were different floors or even buildings.

That would be bad if two families or groups were going together. I would at the very least want to be in the same building.

On our stay in April my sister and I checked in on the same day. We were given units in one building, but different floors. Another sister had a flight delay due to weather and checked in a day later. She was given a unit in a building almost directly across the lake. We made it work.
