watch band extender

Do they make such a thing? I have a very pooh sized grandma who due to diabetis has very large swollen wrists. Shes got a fancy watch her husband bought her when they were dating that she insists on wearing (even though its leaving marks on her wrists and hurting her). So we couldnt find a longer watch band (do they make them longer than 19in?) so I need a extender. Any ideas where to get one?

I would bring the watch to a jewelry store or a dept. store with a jewelry dept. and see if they can help you. I brought one of my husband's watches to Kohls and they removed some links in the band for free. If the band is removable, maybe you could get two bands with removable links and have them combined to one longer one?
