I'm experimenting with only watching shows from a specific decade back to back. And it's amazing how much stuff have changed. Right now, I'm watching shows from the 70s.
Love Boat's premise seems to be: what if we have characters from old shows randomly hook up?Oh yes! I have watched a few 70s shows lately.
Facts of life. Love boat. Barney Miller.
but dh loves the stuff.Yup. And the ship looks very boring vs todays ships…Love Boat's premise seems to be: what if we have characters from old shows randomly hook up?
LOL. The Pacific Princess had a passenger capacity of 626. Not even that is big enough to be called a ship these days.Yup. And the ship looks very boring vs todays ships…
I rewatched that a few years ago.I rewatched The Waltons during covid. It was comforting both because the show originally aired during my childhood in the 70s, and because it was set in difficult times of its own. - I found a lot of parallels/inspiration.
Oh Shaun and Parker….Watching the Hardy Boys now. Classic 70s haircuts.

I have been rewatching FoL here and there. In my mind it was so family friendly when I watched back then. But wow! They hit on some deep topics!!Oh yes! I have watched a few 70s shows lately.

And oh so many plot holes…I have been rewatching FoL here and there. In my mind it was so family friendly when I watched back then. But wow! They hit on some deep topics!!
Parker also did a short lived series Probe and then Baywatch.Oh Shaun and Parker….
I actually like the new Hardy Boys series even though it has little to do with the books. And even the books got an edit way before I was born for content in the 50s.so much more accurate to the origin material (books/comic books) vs. the god-awful 'nancy drew', 'sabrina the teenage witch', 'riverdale' c--p that has/is aired beginning with the melissa joan hart junk of the '90s.
