Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

I've got to get groceries today or they'll fire me as mom.
 That's not so bad, right?:scratchin

I have DS home, too. I haven't determined just how sick he really. I get to be ::cop: to keep him from :rockband: and the rest of the wii, just in case he isn't that sick. He does have the classic strep symptoms so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Okay sick kids and need to food shop. I would get my self fired.:lmao:
I hope DS feels better.

Morning,

I'm off to work this morning. I am not feeling well. it's not the worst I have felt but it's not good either.

Strep is no good. Poor guy.

Anyone want to do the laundry while I'm gone?
I hope you feel better.
I would help you out on the laundry but I have some of my owm to do.

anyone want to come and put away the groceries for me?:goodvibes

I hate putting away groceries

Okay I need to run to the store. I told DH I would make him a Cheesy Chicken and Rice Cassserole and I have no creamy chicken soup.

Okay I think my cat wants a winner for an owner. I have his water dish and food dish on a mat. Now if it is dirty he will not eat or drink and will stand there and cry and cry until I clean it.:rotfl2:

I just spent the last 15 minutes picking cheddar cheese out of DS3's ear.

Why? I mean... really... WHY?

:lmao: :lmao: Sorry, Tricia, but your kids make me :lmao:

Salty or sweet?

Sweet-Winter oreos and choclate eclairs from the bakery

Salty-Cheezits:rolleyes1 :lmao: or chips and salsa.

The chips and salsa and sour cream are calling my name.

oh yeah and there is that healthy stuff called fruit in there too:goodvibes
Gee, I wish you'd done my grocery shopping. I tried to be good. Now I'm wishing I had some cheezits! ;) Or those chocolate eclairs.

No no she does not even have my number or DH's :rotfl2:
;) We don't give MIL DH's cell or work #s or she would call them all the time. She has my cell, but she won't call me unless it's important. Just as well, too!

The question really should be why not? He's 3 I am sure he couldn't think of a good reason NOT to put it in his ear. LOL!

How have you been? I was thinking about you the other day.

I survived the day at work. Once I left the house I felt better. I still have laundry though. D, I never fold it that is what I need help with.

My MIL always calls my husband's cell # even if she knows we are home. Although you can never call her on hers because she NEVER has it on. It might run out of batteries and then you'll have to recharge it. :confused3

Well, there you go. I don't know how to compete with the logic of a 3 year old boy. If it's there, let's see if we can sit on it, eat it, shove it in any open orafice, or tear it apart. Just because it is there.

It took me a few minutes to realize what he was doing. He was sitting there with a bowl of shredded cheddar cheese (one of his current favorite snacks) and singing. I heard:

"We wish you a fairy Christmas
We wish you a fairy Christmas
We wish you a fairy Christmas
And a happy new ear."

Didn't think much of it. You know. Three year old, still fascinated by the whole Christmas thing. I kept reading my book. He kept singing it. Over and over. Finally, I rolled my eyes and looked up. When he got to the "happy new ear" line, he would shove a strand of cheddar in his ear.

I know someone who soooo needs this shirt.

Happy new ear is cracking me up! :rotfl: At least you didn't have to go to Urgent Care or anything.

DS4 always makes up his own lyrics to songs too. I guess I should start paying more attention when he sings about his body parts.

How have you been? I was thinking about you the other day.

Somewhere around 2am, I woke up thinking to myself "Dorky asked how I've been and all I did was tell the cheese-in-ear story. How rude."

So, I'm back to say that I'm doing okay. Not great, but okay. I finally broke down and went to the doctor on New Year's Eve for the headaches that I can't get rid of. He told me, big surprise, that my level of stress is starting to affect me physically. He told me he had a short term fix (Midrin, 100mg twice a day), but that long term I needed to find a healthy outlet for all the stuff I'm bottling up inside. He told me I am "courting a breakdown of some variety" if I don't do something. Thanks doc. I'm sure that will lower my level of worry.

Yes, nothing says Happy New Year like a visit to the doctor and having him tell you you're causing your own problems.

It looks like I am going to have to do the dreaded E word.

Eat? :confused3

Is there anything you can do to destress a little...I know easier said than done but you need to take some time for yourself....I/we worry about you :guilty:

The doctor suggested... exercise

I'm trying. Not having any money makes it challenging to find things, but I'm trying. Since Joshua started back to school on Tuesday, I took Daniel to the story hour at the library. At least it got us out of the house. I'll keep looking for things to do to stay busy and active. It'll be okay.

Ugh! The E word is almost as bad as the C word.

Bumping us back on top where we belong.

Maybe you could clean while jogging...kills two letters with one stone!
