Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

Linty, we have radiator block heaters on both vehicles. The one vehicle we purchased when we still lived in AL and once we knew we were moving here, we took it in to have the heater put on the engine. Those poor service guys had NO clue how to install one! They'd never had to do it before and they thought we were FREAKS for paying to have one installed! That thing has come in handy, though...:cold:

DD is a preschool and I am here and 'there'--also filling out paperwork for Early Childhood Screening (life history anyone?) on Friday and cutting out 36 pumpkins for preschool next week. That's what I get for being nice, I guess...

Let me just say that I never want to live somewhere cold enough to freeze parts of my car. If metal can freeze, what would it do to my parts?

Lissa--your parts would be
cold.gif

Block heaters--we paid the extra $10 or whatever each month in our MN apartment just to be able to plug in the car. Wish they'd had heated seats and remote starters back then.
I heard a rumor of freezing rain snow being a possiblity here. I'm gonna ignore it and maybe it will go away.

I've stayed awake this long--may as well stay all day now. But it's still rainy. If I should happen to close my eyes I bet I could still nap.

Exactly. When the inside of your nose freezes, it's 'snot' a pleasant feeling! :lmao:

There are not words to describe some of the cold here...I would be happy to trade places with some of the Southern losers who get tired of having the sun and heat all the time...boo-freaking-hoo! :sad1:

:rotfl:

Denise, Headline News made mention of the "blizzard" word for your area today...I sure as HECK hope that ain't true!

Darnit--I just spent way too much money yesterday at Target and now I gotta go back.

ewwwwww! The cat let a stinky!:scared:

Kid is back from preschool, pumpkins are not cut out, paperwork is not complete. So far, I'm having a Loserrific day! :cool1:

I had 2 cupcakes for lunch. I think I deserved it as an end of midterm celebration. Man can this college student party or what?! :rotfl:

Although I will be partaking in more of a celebration this weekend with wine. I cannot wait. Friday night should be very exciting!

Partay time!! I got my guvment paper crap done! And I got it done a day early. Well, this portion of it anyway.

And no practice tonight. I'm happy as a freakin Jay Bird! Bring on the booze!
