Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

Nope--I ordered my tickets for US/IOA and SeaWorld, though. Oh, and made ressies for the Luau at SeaWorld. "Has anyone ever done that??" :lmao:

Still haven't made it to the shower, so the dry cleaner still isn't done. But I did get out some hamburger for dinner. I am thinking spaghetti...

Oh, Shay--I asked about my prize was for winning the Baby Pool and have decided that I should just give it to you. I know, I know...I had only promised to share, but really--it's yours!:upsidedow

no I saw that. They changed the prize to be the next to have a baby. Yeah I am good. I can not get the Warden to say yes to a Puppy do you think a baby is going to fly. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

See, my DH is just the opposite. He would rather have another baby than a pet. However, he is gone 2-3 nights a week so he isn't the one who has to deal with either one of them. I myself would rather get a cat...

With my baby being a Jr in college he is done with the baby deal

Compromise....get a webkins

BTW...my middle name is trouble, but it only works when people take the bait. :sad2:

Another day, more chumming...? :rotfl:

Off to gymnastics, Losers. Somebody has to be a Winner in this household, so I am pushing it off on DD...:lovestruc

Later Kids...

The Winner is home.

Shhh, don't tell him I'm on the computer.

He is trying to finish up the deck, I am trying to look busy.

Back from Gymnastics and Target. DD now owns a Vikings cheerleader uniform! (Go VIKES! :cheer2: ) We will use it without the turtle neck as her costume for MNSSHP.

DH said something the other day about finally taking her to her first game, so maybe she can wear it then too. Or her Vikings jersey--that would be fine too. (She has always had a Vikings jersey, even before she was born! With a screenname like mine, did you think she wouldn't?) :cheer2:

Neighbor just got a scare--had her yearly furnace inspection and they found cracks that will emit Carbon Monoxide inside the home. She has to replace the furnace, but is so grateful that they found out before tragedy struck. (The tech slid a camera inside the furnace to show her the cracks, so she knows its the real deal.)

DD is 'resting' (i.e., sitting on the couch watching Noggin:happytv: ) and I am surfing :surfweb: --sounds like a Winner day, right?:woohoo:

OK....anyone else sick to death of political threads?

Yep. Sick of politics altogether. Doesn't matter for me--DH purposely votes for whoever I didn't vote for, effectively canceling me out. Nice.

DH is in a slump because he tried for a job (that he was told upfront he wasn't going to get) and they announced their choice today--some chump who has only been with the company for nine months. DH has been with them for nine years. He is hurt and angry and I don't blame him. BUT, I have to pump him up, not let him stay depressed over it. Tough night here--could be a touch couple of months as this new boss transitions in. :guilty:

Glad to see the digs around here getting littered up a bit--it has been clean here for WAY TOO LONG! Still--missin' the roomies...:grouphug:

OK....anyone else sick to death of political threads?
I ignore them, so yes! TOTALLY sick of them. I hate election times. The stupid ads on TV are very annoying as well.
I don't even want to vote in November. How loserish is that?!?!?!!?

I don't care who you are voting for. I'm pretty sure me getting in a verbal fight with you isn't going to change your mind about it either. Too bad others aren't as enlightened as we are.

Have had a pretty Loserish day. I did do some laundry, I just haven't put it away so I think that doesn't really count.

My kids are back to school on the 21st. Woo Hoo! I am so tired of the fighting.

Mine go on the 18th! :cool1: I love the sleeping in, during summer, but I too am sooo sick of the fighting!
:headache:

Yet another reason why I am sticking to one kid. The only one she fights with is me--and I win MOST of the time. :lmao:

Actually, we will miss her entire first week of preschool due to our Orlando trip. Preschool isn't mandatory or anything, but I AM paying for it, so I would like her to actually GO...:upsidedow Yeah, there will be plenty of time for that after Disney! :earboy2:

My daughter's real school starts again on the 25th. Of course, she's been at day camp all summer, so it's not a huge change for us.

Oh day camp sounds fun.

I think my kids are just sick of being near each other. I swear I expect to hear, "He's breathing!" any day now.

My youngest starts preschool on the 25th.

My middle guy is going to start Kindergarten. He will go half days for the first 2 weeks and then go to full days. He is excited to start.
