Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

Uh, why is my signature only showing two pictures?? Please tell me I don't have to figure this out....

You know, airhead, photobucket, links...not a good combo.

Well, hello all! I haven't been on the CB for a while so I guess I am the Shy One around here! :goodvibes
:wave2:

Hey guys. Been out of it for awhile. Stopped in on the CB the past few days to see if the octuplets were being discussed. I wasn't disappointed. ;)

We seem to be destined to give the medical folks lots and lots of money. Joshua's trip to the ER in January was only the beginning. Both boys went to the doctor last week and tested positive for the flu, then went back to the doc on Monday and they both have pnemonia.

It is the second week of February and both of them have reached their 09 deductible.

I'll check back when I can. I'm trying to disinfect my house. Asking the germs to leave nicely hasn't worked. ;)
 When it rains it friggin pours! That's your cue to pour something for yourself.:drinking: :drinking1

Morning ya' losers.

Off to the "w" place. BLECH!

I've been up since 3:30a. :headache: I thought I heard the front door shut and my 17 yo DS sleep walks so I thought I better get up and make sure he didn't go outside in the cold. I must have been dreaming 'cause he was all warm in his bed. But, then I couldn't get back to sleep.

He is leaving for college this fall. How do you tell a college room mate they need to keep your 'lil boy safe cause he will get up and walk around and talk in his sleep??? :guilty:

Bribe them with food :thumbsup2 College guys will do just about anything for "real" food and not just another box of whatever.

Morning!

Mtblu, just tell them exactly that.
Hmmmm....honesty....I'll have to give it some thought. ;)

This is very true! If I don't decide on the honesty route, bribery is a good second option. :thumbsup2

I went back to bed after every body left for school and work this morning. I had to d r a g myself out of bed at about 11:30. What a weird day.

DH got a new 2008 Dodge pickup truck today. He badly needed one and has been sitting on the fence about it for more than a year. They came out with that 'employee pricing' and 0% financing and he finally made the leap.

I went into town at noon, we dropped the car DH had at the school for DS, and then went and got the truck. Now everybody has a vehicle to drive and we aren't playing musical whatever you get to drive any more. :3dglasses

Morning Losers!

I'm looking forward to my 16 hour day today--UGH!

See you tomorrow.

My brother actually had what is called an "immature bladder" when he started college, was on meds, and he would need to get up during the night, he was honest with his roommates, always asked for the room/bed nearest the bathroom, and they were all cool with it, the meds helped and he outgrew it by his senior year. Hope that helps! The guys were cool with it!

I dread the day coming when we have to get a car for DD. But it's coming soon. This spring we are pouring concrete to expand the driveway and we have our mechanic on the lookout for a cheap, safe car for her. She's almost 15 and could've had her license since she was 14 but she's too lazy. We're making her get it this spring/summer so we don't have to always take her to 5am practices!:rolleyes1 Purely selfish.

That is what I am hoping for...some guys that will watch over him and take good care of him. His sleep walking episodes can actually be quite frightening. He NEVER wakes up and he acts totally out of character. At home, he usually sleeps with his door closed and will walk into walls and yell out for help when he begins the sleep walking. We are woken to the sounds of things banging around in his room and terrible 'screaming'. He usually only does it when he is tired to the point of exhaustion so if he just remembers to get as much rest as he can, it will really help him. I really worry about him leaving home.....his being the youngest probably really feeds that worry, too. :scared:

DS didn't want to drive either. He took driver's ed more than a year after his friends did. This is his first winter driving by himself! I told him his mom couldn't drive him to school and work forever!! :sad2:

We passed DH's GMC Envoy on to DS, now, and he'll have to make payments when he starts his summer job. We did the same thing with older DS, who is in college now. DH bought his vehicle and drove it for a while to make sure it was a good one. Then sold it to DS. He gets a job when he is home for the summer and makes one big payment a year.

I need to add that I appreciate the support from the other "loser" moms on the loser threads!!

I had a Starbucks at the time you were asking. I would've shared but I was waiting for my DD to get back to the HS. The meet was cancelled. AFTER I had gotten up at 4:45, showered, did my hair, put makeup on and gone to Starbucks! Of course at the time there was no snow. As of now there is enough to cover the ground but it's basically stopped. STUPID schools! They cancel at the possiblity of snow:sad2:

I made cinnamon rolls, since I was already up and had a triple-shot latte already. There was no going back to sleep.
