Wasps

YOU WIN!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I've tried spraying hairspray (while screaming like a crazy person.) It still means getting way too close to the nasty things. :scared1: :scared1:

I bought one of those bug vacuum things with the long tube on it. While it doesn't kill the bug like the packaging says it will, it does draw the bug in so that you can cover up the end of the tube and take it outside and release it. This seems to work better for me than spraying stuff inside the house, or getting out the fly swatter.

:scared1: I am OUTRAGEd at your bitter statements towards White Anglo Saxon Protestants!:snooty:
But yes they can be annoying!

These guys?

The guy literally laughed at me:snooty: Then a few minutes later I heard sirens and thought oh crap! :scared:

I am a true believer in not angering anything that could fly/jump/hop on me to take out it's revenge. I leave that for my husband, firemen, neighbor and occasionally my poor 85 year old mother.

Yeah, but your DH will just bark at them:confused3

I just clicked on one of those eBay auction links at the bottom of the page. Here's something amusing I found:

Up for auction is a WASP Nest!!

Stare at it & see what you can see!!

Jesus? The Virgin Mary? The Face on Mars? A Shrunken Head?

This Wasp nest was discovered under my roof last week.

It was found at 9,165 feet above sea level!!

At the base of Pike's Peak.......High in the Rocky Mountains!!

(Actual Wasps not included!)

Whats the point if the wasps are not included? :confused3

I bet they are in a separate auction in effort for the seller to pad his shipping costs.

I was thinking about putting my wasps on freecycle and seeing if anybody wanted to come and get them.

We have found that if you see wasps hanging out in your yard, they are making a house near by. Watch and follow them and kill the next with spray. Look on siding, wood places, in the sun, behind shutters, and play scaps. They like too chew the wood and use it for their nests. We find small one ones all over, I think our neighbors have some bigs ones in their yards but they aren't as crazy about killing them as my DH is. When fall comes and the leaves come down you can see them hanging in the trees.

They like my mail box, the peak at my house (that one is hard to get at) the underside of the railings on my deck, underside of plastic chairs (or wooden) that are sitting in the sun. We know the hot spots and check them and kill them fast. I have some chairs I don't sit in with out looking under if it was been a while.

I hate wasps. My youngest DD is scared of dogs but is getting much better. With the spring time has come a new fear of all bugs. Even ants and flys (that don't hurt you at all around here.)

Please, make it your goal in life to extinguish the wasp population.

4. To utterly terrorize some people and cause them to run around screaming hysterically while flailing their arms about their heads.

::yes::

Hmmm...all the wasp nests that I have on my fence could bring me cash...now there's an idea ;)

psst...they don't die once they sting you, they are like energizer bunnies, they just keep going.

Wasps were created to make me curl up in a ball like doing the tornado drill while yelling hysterically unmentionable dis words for someone to save me.

When I was a child I was attacked by a group of wasps and had to be taken to the emergency room for 22 wasp stings all over my body. The are my arch enemy :headache: if they come near me I will not hesistate to call the army on them! But apparently the army does not use their heavy artillery on just any little thing:sad2:

OMG, Tina. I would still be in therapy for that one! :scared1:
