The use to be a daytime show at Epcot in the lagoon. Had speed boats with dragon faces, Ultralites, Gliders.

Anyone have pictures of this show??

OH it was way before 2000. I wanna say it was back in the early 90's when the park just fully opened. Heck they where still building different countries in the world showcase.

I have some recollection of this. The phrase "surprise in the skies" comes to mind. They had daytime fireworks, small stunt planes, maybe some boats on WS lagoon. Are we talking about the same thing?

It was "Surprise in the Skies" it ran in the mid 1980's.

Yes, it was called Surprise in the Skies. I looked through my stuff and found a newspaper insert from April 1992. It was very entertaining.

If you want to go wa-a-a-a-a-a-y back. . . . remember the circus at Epoct. It was set up over the fountain (which was covered for it).

Surprise in the Skies was being given in January 1992 as part of EPCOT's tenth anniversary year. I recall the one-man motorized gliders and some daytime fireworks.

Man that was such a neat show. Now they need to bring something like that back. Looking at those pictures brought back so many memories. Look how much was going on. COME ON EPCOT BRING IT BACK
