A new branch of the AMS Character Warehouse opened today in Fairfax Virginia. This company buys LARGE quantities of overstock merchandise, primarily from Disneyland, although some merchandise is from WDW and they sell for discounts from 20% to 85% off. Note they are NOT part of Disney.
They will be open daily from today until May 25. The store hours are 10:00am to 9:00p daily except Sunday, when they are Noon to 5:00pm.
There was an ad on Page 3 of the Style section in today's Washington Post (April 5) which gives an additional 10% discount on the total purchase. They accept cash, MasterCard and Visa only.
The address is 3031 Nutley Street in Faifax. Simplest direction are take I-66 to Nutley Street which is the first exit (#62) OUTSIDE of the Capital Beltway (I-495). Go South about 1/2 mile to Lee Highway (US-29) and go straight into the Pan Am Center, which is across the intersection. The store is right next to the Safeway.
By the way, there is a very good Chinese Restaurant (Lo's) in the Shopping Center.
