Washington DC Area DISers--Nov 20th Meet

I decided to start another thread so I can get a better headcount for the Nov 20th meet. We're looking at early afternoon on Sunday, Nov 20th somewhere in the Tysons Corner, VA area.

I know that I heard form some of you on the other thread, but please repost here so I can make sure I have an accurate and complet count.

I have 2-3 restaurants that I will call once I have a little firmer headcount...Slades, Maggianos, Bertucci's. Gordon Birsch (sp?) was mentioned, but someone else mentioned that it wasn't very good.

I'll find out when places would have a room we could use or at least an out of the way area and wouldn't mind us lingering.

Also, any dietary issues that any of you have that I should ask about and that we should keep in mind when we are deciding on the restaurant. I'm vegetarian, but that's not a big deal now days. Anything else I should consider?

Count me in as a possibility - I really want to come. I have my godson's bday party to go to that day, but am not sure what time it will be. It's "later afternoon" for the party, so I have to wait for the invite, which I should be getting within the next week!

I picked up DD and we went shopping at Tyson's Corner Mall. I think it took about 30 minutes to get back from there.

Hey Missy-I used to live sorta near you. In NJ actually, but closer than DC is, plus we have family in your area.

Just wanted to bump this up in case some people hadn't seen this thread since the date is coming up! Oh, and we'll be out of town from tomorrow till the 18th, just in case there's some other count or meeting details-so don't think we're not coming if we don't respond!

Thanks for the bump! I'm going to call the restaurants today so we can decide which place. I'm shooting for 2PM to give people time to get to Tyson's who have a drive. Does that seem like a good time?
