Washing machine without agitator

Anyone have this kind? My old washer died yesterday with a tub full of dirty water, a quilt and several towels in it. Yuck. It was not a lot of fun at all. Anyway just bought a new GE washer and it does not have the agitator in it. I have heard these are better as they are more gentle on your clothes. Anyone else have this kind?

We've had one for about 1 1/2 years......it works great.
More fits in too
No problem anymore with those king size bedspreads.

Yep--we had the Kenmore with the giant capacity--it was so awesome! And it spun like crazy--clothes came out **almost** dry!
The people who bought our house lucked out with that bonus.
**Sigh** I still miss it a year later. I'm not one to get rid of something that works fine, so I REALLY wish my current washer would die.

I have a Whirlpool Cabrio and to be honest it S*CKS!!!! It puts holes in our clothes and it just died yesterday, it's only 3 years old!!!! Repair man coming on Wed, no idea on how much it will cost, though some surfing indicated it might be 500. If it is, new machine for me!
