Washing a Maclaren

Okay I've finally gotten my Maclaren Quest disassembled and ready for washing to be all fresh for vacation. The question is it says handwash only - can I wash it on gentle in the washing machine? Has anyone washed it on gentle and had good results. We have britax marathon carseats and I wash the covers of them on gentle even with the handwash only tags and have had great results. Any first hand experience washing a maclaren seat in the gentle cycle? Thanks!!

I did the same thing, but I let mine dry outside instead of the dryer because of shrinkage.

Me too!
Washed on gentle and air dried. I'm just too busy to sit there and hand wash anything!

Well I went ahead and handwashed it because I hadn't gotten any responses yet and wanted to get it done already. It did wash beautifully and I hung it to dry and it looks GREAT!! But it is so good to know that next time I can just throw it in the wash on gentle like I do the carseat covers.

I washed mine in the washer and air dried it...it was fine. Lot easier for you next time
