How do you get "washable paint" out of clothes?? The teacher washed the off quickly and when my daughter came home I put spray and wash on for 30 minutes and the washed but there is still paint on her clothes. I took themout of washer and have not dryed them yet so what do i DO?

ooh, I'm not sure.
I know the washable paint we had said on the pkg to wash WITHOUT using any spray/etc. on it... so that's what I did (when I usually use Spray N Wash or Shout on all stains before putting them in the wash) and it came right out of everything. And my 3yr old's shirt was almost covered in it!

Could it be the type of clothing just isn't allowing the stain to come out well? Mine were cotton clothes- what type of material is this that it's not coming out of?

Do you have oxyclean? If you soak in hot water with oxyclean that has been known to get some resistant stains out.

I also found some colors...red, black never came out when I tried...

My sweet Mother took some of my DD's brand new Gymboree clothes and put matching patches over the satins that won't come out.
My DD had a frog shirt that was mostly white and the paint WOULD NOT come out. Supposedly washable - Right! Anyway she found an adorable butterfly patch and now it looks like it always belonged and it saved the shirt.
Maybe think along those lines.

I swear by Zout stain remover. It's even taken out stains after the clothes went through the dryer. Spray it on the stain, work it in and let it sit for a few hours before washing. It might take a few washing to get it out entirely. For the very few stains I've never been able to get out I used fabric paint and decorated over it.

I just successfully got red "washable" paint out of my DD white uniform shirt with a Clorox bleach pen.

This was after already washing regular way three time even with bleach.

now is this pen colors safe?? Its onmy daughters skirt which is biege and its got side ruffels around the bottom and its on the ruffels so patches won't work.

Try White vinegar,, test a spot out of sight to make sure doesnt damage fabric or dye,,, but vinegar, will take most paints out ,, we use it to boil out hardened paintbrushes and salvage them, its a suprising ly good remover:)

Oxy clean maybe?
I never buy white shirts for any of my kids!:D Sometimes they get them from activities, but not from me. Too many hard lessons learned!
