The first HHN we (me & my husband) attended was in 2006. It was amazing. I seemed to be a target in the scarezones, they were working hard to scare me...it was great. I'm one of those people that cannot scream on queue (think Horror Make-Up Show). Seriously, if someone offered me $500 right now to scream, I couldn't do it. Well, while at HHN 2006 I kept hearing a bloodcurdling scream while walking through one of the scarezones. As I was leaving the scarezone, I realized that the screaming was coming from me. It was such a strange (and awesome) feeling.

We've attended HHN 2007 and 2008 and while they were just as amazing, they were somehow different. The houses had just as many great details, the scareactors were as wonderful as ever, but my bloodcurdling scream was gone. And I missed it. I've come to the conclusion that my first HHN was just so darn awesome cause it was my first, it was so new, I had no idea what to expect. Even though the houses and scarezones are different each year, I know what *kind* of fear to expect. Don't get me wrong, I so look forward to each HHN and I have a great time...it's just, different. So, was your first HHN your favorite?

Like you stated the 1'st is the best cause you dont know what to expect.I go every year cause I love too see if they can scare me.I'm n ot a screamer and not much scares me.But at least once or twice A year I do get that startle I love.I love seeing how they put the houses and storyline together.Tell you the truth I love seeing others get the h^%$ scared out of them, and of coarse Bill&Teds show..

Not for me...My first was in 2004 and I actually liked 2005 better...that's my favorite so far. :teeth:

2004 was my first too, and it has definitely been my favorite in terms of the houses. The other years (especially 2005, by far my least favorite, lol) just couldn't live up to the standards set by 2004, 2006 came close though.

2007 house-Home For The Holidays-Psyochtherapy has been my fav so far.I am always looking for Universal to outdo the houses of the past.

I've been to so many, I'm not sure which one was my fave. My first one was in 1992 or 1993; I don't remember which. I've been to every one since 1999.

I don't even remember my first one which was in 1995!! I think the them may have been Tales from the Crypt. I have the park guide still though!
