Was you planner there on your wedding day?

I was wondering if you planner was/will be there with you on your wedding day? It seems so far with all the trip reports I've, the planner has been there, but I don't know if its always definite that they will be there. My wedding day is on a Sunday and I don't know if they work on the weekends :confused:.
 
Do you mean for Escape Weddings? I have heard a lot of stories about planner switcheroos for Escape Weddings.

Wishes weddings are always attended by the planner, but apparently they don't stay for the whole thing (and they don't come to the dessert party - more treats for you!).
 

Yes, they work 7 days a week, but they get LOOOONG vacations every once in a while. Celeste took about a 10 vacation right before my final payment was due. Although, she was really good about calling and making sure everything was taken care of before she left.

My wedding is on a Saturday, and Celeste will definitely be there. During your planning session she'll tell you all the things she'll do on your wedding day. She's there to tell the guests where to go (and where not to go), she'll keep you on schedule, and best of all she'll be at the reception to make sure none of my obnoxious relatives ask the DJ to play tacky songs :thumbsup2 She's a no nonse type of person who has complete control over the situation... you definitely want her there on your wedding day!
 
Wow thanks Kristen! That makes me feel sooo much better. I was afraid we would be left alone to figure things out for ourselves and I would be running around like a mad woman :headache:.

I absolutely understand... that was one of the first questions I asked Joe during the sales process. I assume she'll have some assistants there as well, I know they're there at least to help set up.

Did you get Randy for photography?? I'm told he's like having a second wedding planner... he can tell you where to go/what to do almost better than the planners!
 
I think it might be standard to have extra people along with your planner. We had 2 extra as well - and they all stayed the whole time.
 
Yes, we do have Randy :banana:. Its pretty funny you say that because I remember many other brides saying that Randy was like another wedding planner. He knew everything! Probably because he's been to sooo many Disney weddings ;).

He IS a second wedding planner! He has the schedule down and knows how everything works! I'm a little worried about the timing,(I was just at a wedding and the bride was OUTSIDE taking pictures right before the ceremony!?Her DF didn't see her, but everyone else did) but I know we are all in good hands with Randy!

Woohoo!!! Yay Celeste! She is my wedding planner too. I didnt realize she would be that involved... such as the obnoxious relatives.
 
Celeste was our planner too and she was there all day long.
She even called our hotel after the reception to make sure everything was delivered to our room on time and in good shape
She took care of everything, she even acted like the "bad guy" when we were upset with something that our guests did...she was all over them and we didn't get blamed for it :rotfl:

We had Randy as well and he definately could get a job at Disney as a planner.
Between him, Celeste and her assistants we didn't have to worry about thing.

Dang - that means I only get one assistant.... Luckily, I will still be allowed one celebrity moment when DF and I ride over to the cermeony site in a limo with two photographers and two videographers. :rotfl:
 
We had a intimate wedding and our co-ordinator and her assistant were there. They were really lovely and made the day eve more special. Amy Reindeau you are great!!!
 
My Wedding Is On A Sunday Night And Planner Karen Said She Will Be There W/at Least 1 Asst. She Said She Will Stay For At Least The First 1.5 Hr Of Reception.
