was there ever a bus AND a ferry to get from WL to MK?

we found that, when the boat between MK and WL also makes a stop at FW, it was quite slow to get to/from MK/WL despite the fact that WL is so close to the MK.
we kept thinking how nice it would be if there was also an option to take a direct bus to MK from WL.

so i was curious, was there ever a time when there was BOTH a direct ferry AND a direct bus to/from MK/WL?
if so, is there any chance that arrangement might come back?

also, we found it confusing to figure out what times the ferry was direct to WL instead of shared with FW.
i'm guessing our transit time would've been much faster if we always caught the direct ferry.

Just a few years ago they had red, green and blue flags on the boats. I forget which color flag boat went where, but the WL had it's own boat to the MK and the campground had it's own boat to the MK. I once timed the WL to MK boat and it took 7 minutes dock to dock. I believe the boat to the MK now goes to FW then to WL and then to MK in the mornings and in the afternoons from MK to WL then FW. I don't know what time the change happens.

As far as I know, the bus always went to the TTC and then you either took the ferry or the monorail to the MK.

The boats share with FW to maximize efficiency. If they didn't share, intervals between boats would increase.

As for a direct bus from WL to MK... don't count on it ever showing up. When given the choice of a bus or a boat, the vast majority of guests will take the boat... Apparently, most people don't get as excited about riding a bus as I do.
