I watched but I didn't see anything. I checked on here and I couldn't find anything either..... any news?????

Nopee.. no one on the colts even said "I'm going to Disneyworld!" I was upset haha.

I was too! I wanted to hear something Disney. I was actually hoping it was a new resort in Frisco, Co. I would love ski Disney style.

So many people reported hearing radio stations announce that there was a Disney announcement that I put a little more stock into the announcement being more than a rumor. Oh well... even a movie anouncement I guess would have been okay!:hippie:

Actually, the Colts Head coach (can't spell his name) and another player were shown on the Today show this morning saying they were going to Disneyworld. I, too, was wondering this, but they showed it!

Just a reminder to everyone posting on this thread that no profanity is allowed on these boards. Don't use swear words - the boards are equipped with censoring software. If you try to use profanity, it will be filtered and appear as all asterisks. Please don't get creative in an attempt to bypass the filters. This is considered the same as using the word itself and will result in an infraction.

I just saw a commercial and it has the song "when you wish upon a star" and then shows all clips of the colts winning and then they ask "what are you going to do now" and the coach and a player saying "we're going to disneyworld!" it made my day!

:happytv:

Just saw the commercial on Toon Disney. Coach Dungy and Running Back Dominick Rhodes have the "I'm going to Disney World" line. Then, it shows the castle in the clouds and a Colt's football helmet flies up near the castle.

Along with mini-golf courses, race tracks, marathons, and baseball fields, Walt Disney World is embracing football this time of year, as the Super Bowl hype is still high among fans and TV watchers.

Starting today, Superbowl champion running back Dominic Rhodes of the Indianapolis Colts, will appear in a TV advertisement for Disney in which he will use the "going to Disney World" phrase, made famous in previous years.

Rhodes will be at Disney's Magic Kingdom today, playing football with a few lucky local NFL Youth Football leagues from around Central Florida, ranging in age from 8 to 11. A football field specifically created for today's game playing was constructed on Main Street, U.S.A. near Cinderella's castle.

Man, Rhoades must have been pooped then! I wonder what time they did that as he and the team landed in Indy around 4:00ish, then the parade downtown to the Dome.

And WTHR out of Indy has been playing the "We're going to Disney World" commercial for the last couple of days.

I just don't know where to put this and I don't think it needs it's own thread. It is after the super bowl and it is an announcement!

FEB 5TH But it might be a few days older. The use of the world carnival should really bother us all here.

Disney adding Toy Story attraction Mon Feb 5, 4:12 PM ET

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Walt Disney Co. is rewiring the old carnival midway concept with Buzz Lightyear and Mr. Potato Head in a new attraction, and turning singer Beyonce Knowles into Alice In Wonderland in an ad campaign shot by Annie Leibovitz, executives said.

The Leibovitz images also feature soccer player David Beckham as Prince Phillip from "Sleeping Beauty," Scarlett Johansson as slipperless Cinderella descending the castle steps, and a swirling teacup scene for three: Oliver Platt from "The West Wing" as the Mad Hatter, and Lyle Lovett as the March Hare joining Beyonce as Alice.

Toy Story Mania will open at Orlando's Disney-MGM Studios and Disney's California Adventure in 2008. In it, guests will don 3D glasses and ride eight to a car through different stations in a high-tech turn on old carnival games. The ring toss and darts will feature characters from "Toy Story," and players will toss "virtual" rings, eggs and pies at targets using a toy cannon with a string and lever.

The announcements culminated a three-day press event for Disney's "Year of a Million Dreams" campaign, which awards unsuspecting park guests at random with prizes ranging from sheriff for a day at Frontierland to a night's stay in Cinderella's castle.

The Walt Disney Co. hopes the carnival concept of the Toy Story attraction will resonate with parents and older guests, while the video game component will draw in kids. Players will be tracked by computers that automatically raise or lower the difficulty level based on skill.

Tom Fitzgerald, senior creative executive with Walt Disney Imagineering, said the immersive game would even simulate "wind in your face, water spray, maybe even smell."

The Leibovitz photos, taken in December, were the first in a series featuring additional, to-be-named celebrities. Disney intends to use them in ads for its "Dreams" contest running in magazines Vanity Fair, W, GQ, The New Yorker and others.

"Something this big is like making a small film," Leibovitz said of the images, which are both dark and whimsical.

She said it was by accident, however, the celebrities featured have been recently in the news — Beckham for signing an American soccer contract and Beyonce for her role in "Dreamgirls," which just received a leading eight Oscar nominations.

It's like they are TRYING to trick you right to your face!

The "I'm going to Disney World" wasn't shown after the game because the game was aired on CBS. It hasn't been shown post-game since the game left ABC
