According to ny1.com, NYC is now only getting about 4" of snow. Is that still accurate?

If we get no snow, I will be one happy camper.

Here's what it says on ny1. I'm not sure what time this was posted though (morning? afternoon?)

A snowstorm originally predicted to dump as much as 12 inches on New York City this weekend, now looks like it will blanket the city with as little as 4 inches.

Still, after a record-warm January, is looks like winter is set to make a comeback. But it looks like it won't be the biggest snowstorm of the season as first predicted.

Snow will begin falling sometime Saturday afternoon, with the worst of the storm hitting between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday. Meteorologists say the forecast continues to evolve, however, so New Yorkers are advised to check in for updates.

this is what i just saw on our weather page..

AccuWeather is forecasting the following snowfall amounts:

Washington D.C. -- 2-4" with higher amounts possible if the snow does not turn to rain

Philadelphia -- 3-6"

New York City -- 3-6" in the city, 6-12" to the north and west, 1-3" on Long Island

Boston -- 6-12" with lesser amounts along the south coast and Cape Cod I-81 through Central PA -- 6-12"

At 10am this morning CCN said the model they're using showed the storm was going to be east of NYC so most of the tri-state area would only get a few inches. DC, Richmond, eastern LI and even Cape Cod would get much more. They still haven't changed their reporting but said by tonight they'd have a better handle on it.

No blizzard = A very happy me! I hope this is true. Radio still saying 6-12in. :confused3

They upgraded us to a HEAVY SNOW WARNING...5-9 inches of snow. We'll see. We just canceled a breakfast and set-up tomorrow morning at church (we are supposed to be having a Valentine Party on Sunday). They have been off on most of the snow forcasts here this winter.

Here in central PA, they are only reporting 1-3 inches. :confused3 Who knows?

WNBC is saying 4"-8" in the city and up to 12" on LI
